  • Patent number: 9422070
Abstract: An automatic or semiautomatic device for the controlled metering and mixing of a plurality of active liquid substances for plants, includes elements for selectively sampling the substances in corresponding containers and moreover includes a fluid transfer element and, elements for metering, mixing, and diluting the sampled or transferred amounts of the liquid substance(s). The device also includes a controlling and managing unit that controls the sampling and transferring element and is associated with measurement elements and an element for controlling the flow of fluids within the valve-type device. The measurement elements include an element, advantageous for sequential use, for measuring a basic volume of a sampled concentrated liquid substance, the volume needing to be mixed and/or diluted.

  • Patent number: 7118714
Abstract: A module for the synthesis of organic molecules on or in solid phase and an apparatus comprising at least such a module. The module consists of several synthesis reactors formed, each, by a tubular body forming a reaction chamber delimited in its lower part by a removable porous wall, designed to retain the synthesis support material, an injection and expanding head forming an upper closure plug for the tubular body, a closure and emptying base mounted removable in a lower extension of the tubular body. Each reactor is provided with a heat exchanger in close peripheral contact with the tubular body at least at the part of the chamber designed to contain the medium and the reaction compounds and a condenser in close peripheral contact with the body at the part of the chamber extending above that containing the medium and the reaction compounds and beneath the injection head.

  • Publication number: 20050106707
Abstract: An automatic apparatus for synthesis of organic molecules, in accordance with combinative or parallel synthesis protocols. The apparatus comprises: several synthesis modules including each five reactors temperature-controlled by heating and cooling elements, a container forming a secondary mixing chamber whose capacity corresponds to at least the sum of capacities of the reactors of a module, being associated with each module and an additional container, forming a main mixing chamber whose capacity corresponds to at least the sum of capacities of the various secondary mixing chambers, and at least a circuit for transferring the contents of the reactors to one or more containers or reactors, and at least a supply or discharge circuit connected to the different inlets/outlets of the reactors and of the containers and, finally, a ramified system for managing and controlling the flow and distribution of fluids in the circuits and the temperature and stirring in the chambers.

  • Patent number: 4748002
Abstract: A semi-automatic, solid phase peptide multi-synthesizer is characterized in that it is principally constituted by chemical reactors (2), connected to volumetric solvent proportioners (1) disposed above the said chemical reactors (2) and below a solvent selector (4) supplied with solvent by solvent containers (6) under pressure of nitrogen distribution cylinders (3), as well as a center for adjustment and regulation of very low pressure nitrogen (5), are sequentially controlled by a programmable automation (7) or a microcomputer assuring the carrying out of the synthesis technique. The maximum number of volumetric solvent proportioner (1)--chemical reactor (2) assemblies is equal to the maximum number of peptides which may be produced simultaneously.
