    Abstract: Metal sheets of aluminum are provided with raised reinforcing portions of substantial height by rolling. The rolls have recesses or channels (6) whose side faces are in a counter-taper configuration with respect to a plane perpendicular to the axis of the cylinder, with an angle of inclination (.alpha.) of up to 5.degree.. The resulting product may advantageously be used for producing perforated metal sheets with high modulus of inertia.
