    Abstract: A windscreen wiper device comprises a drive crank 6 mounted fast on a drive shaft 7 of a drive motor, a connecting rod 5 pivotally mounted on said drive crank by means of a crank pin means, and a windscreen wiper blade support arm 2 connected to said connecting rod 5 so that rotation of said drive crank 6 by said drive motor rotating in a first direction sweeps said support arm 2 through a predetermined arc.
