    Abstract: An applicator of microwaves, has a first mass connected to a wave guide and associated with a heat exchanger in connection with a circuit for circulation of a cooling fluid on the one hand, and a second mass in the form of an envelope concentric with respect to the first mass connected to the return of the wave guide and having an annular base associated with a heat exchanger in connection with a circuit for circulation of a cooling fluid. The invention is particularly directed to the treatment of cancerous tumors.
