  • Publication number: 20240128346
Abstract: A semiconductor structure is provided that includes a pFET located in a pFET device region, the pFET includes a first functional gate structure and a plurality of pFET semiconductor channel material nanosheets, and an nFET located in the nFET device region, the nFET includes a second functional gate structure and a plurality of pFET semiconductor channel material nanosheets. The pFET semiconductor channel material nanosheets can be staggered relative to, or vertically aligned in a horizontal direction with, the nFET semiconductor channel material nanosheets. When staggered, a bottom dielectric isolation structure can be located in both the device regions, and the second functional gate structures has a bottommost surface that extends beneath a topmost surface of the bottom dielectric isolation structure. When horizontally aligned, a vertical dielectric pillar is located between the two device regions.

  • Patent number: 11934643
Abstract: Usage metrics for augmented reality content may be identified and analyzed to determine measures of fitness for respective usage metrics. The measures of fitness may indicate a level of correlation with an outcome specified by an augmented reality content creator and an amount of interaction with an augmented reality content item by users of a client application. Recommendations may be provided to augmented reality content creators indicating modifications to augmented reality content items that have at least a threshold probability of increasing the level of interaction between users of the client application and the augmented reality content item.

  • Publication number: 20180092413
Abstract: Embodiments are provided for a pants garment that has an upper segment having a waist, and two leg portions, and a lower segment having two leg members. The leg members having an elastic upper portion and a lower portion. The leg portions of the upper segment overlap the top portion of the leg members, and are attached to the leg members at a portion below the top of the leg members, as to allow the leg members elastic upper portions to resist the movement of the leg warmers when the upper portion is pulled down.

  • Patent number: 8846607
Abstract: Formulations have been developed to treat or reduce the spread of respiratory infections, especially chronic or drug resistant infections, particularly tuberculosis (TB), severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), meningococcal meningitis, Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), influenza, and small pox. Formulations include a drug or vaccine in the form of a microparticle, nanoparticle, or aggregate of nanoparticles, and, optionally, a carrier, which can be delivered by inhalation. Giving the drugs via an inhaler sidesteps the problems associated with oral or injectable drugs by bypassing the stomach and liver, and delivering the medication directly into the lungs. In one embodiment, the particle containing the agent is a large porous aerosol particle (LPPs). In another embodiment, the particles are nanoparticles, which can be administered as porous nanoparticle aggregates with micron diameters that disperse into nanoparticles following administration.

  • Publication number: 20080108554
Abstract: Method and apparatus for producing dry particles. Two liquid components are combined in a static mixer, atomized into droplets, and the droplets dried to form dry particles. Use of the static mixer enables incompatible liquid components to be rapidly and homogeneously combined. The present invention optimizes process conditions for increasing and controlling particle porosity. The present invention also allows for optimization of particle size in real-time during particle production.

  • Publication number: 20050265928
Abstract: Particulate compositions for delivery, preferably pulmonary, which provide sustained release of antigens, preferably DNA and/or peptide and/or protein antigens, have been developed. In the preferred embodiment, aggregate nanoparticles are in the aerodynamic range of 1-5 microns diameter and fly deep into the lungs. As the aggregate particles degrade in the body, MSP-1 and AMA-1 proteins are released into the blood stimulating a humoural immune response. The individual particles in the range of 0.1 micron are preferentially phagocytosed by APCs which express the proteins encoded by AMA-1 and MSP-1 plasmid DNA thereby initiating the cellular immune response that is necessary for a complete immunity.
