  • Publication number: 20070295520
Abstract: The ramming device comprises a ramming element to be assigned to the end of a rock breaker. The inventive device receives the shocks generated by the rock breaker and transmits them to fragments to be compacted. The ramming device also has a frame comprising: positioning means for positioning relative to the rock-breaker so that the axis of the frame is coincident with the axis of the rock breaker; joining means that enable the temporary and removable fixing of the frame to the end of the rock breaker; axially translational guiding means for guiding the ramming element relative to the frame; means for blocking the rotation of the ramming element about the axis of the frame, and; means for limiting the amplitude of this translation.

  • Patent number: 7234548
Abstract: A hydraulic rotary percussive hammer drill includes a body containing a reciprocating percussion piston sliding under the effect of a main hydraulic supply circuit, this main circuit also being intended to cause the sliding of a roughly annular abutment piston housed in a cavity of the body, and having, on the one hand, a front face in contact with a shank and intended to place this shank a predetermined distance away from the percussion piston and, on the other hand, a rear face facing a rear wall of the cavity, characterized in that an external hydraulic supply circuit is able, when the main circuit is shut down, to introduce fluid under pressure between the rear face of the abutment piston and the rear wall of the cavity so as to maintain a space between these items.

  • Publication number: 20070107697
Abstract: The inventive device includes a casing, inside of which the body is accommodated that has the hydraulic striking mechanism, inside of which a bush is mounted for guiding a tool. Said tool is held in a manner that enables it to rotate in the guiding bush and its horizontally displacement therein is limited by a cotter. The guiding bush includes at least one non-circular peripheral area that interacts with an area having a complementary shape that is made in the front of the casing in order to limit the rotation of the bush and thus of the body relative to the casing.

  • Publication number: 20070079697
Abstract: A percussive apparatus comprises a body inside of which a striking piston is mounted in a cylinder bore. Two axially offset pieces are mounted inside the cylinder bore of the body while being concentric to the piston, and a deformable washer is placed between said pieces. One of the pieces is stationary with regard to the other piece that, however, is mounted in a manner that enables it to slide inside the cylinder bore and to be displaced in the direction of the stationary piece while being subjected to the action of the supply pressure of the hydraulic fluid that acts upon the surface of the moving piece facing away from the side opposite the stationary piece. The displacement of the moving piece causes the elastic washer to deform in order to create a passage with a variable cross-section on the return circuit of the hydraulic fluid to the reservoir or on a circuit that diverts, to the return circuit, a portion of the delivery flow of the apparatus whereby regulating the input pressure.

  • Patent number: 6857482
Abstract: The invention concerns an apparatus comprising a body (2) wherein a piston (6) is mounted sliding alternately driven by an incompressible fluid under pressure, said body containing part of a tool (4) which is guided in translation in a wear sleeve (3), the end of the tool located inside the body being subjected to the repeated impacts of the piston (6), while the other end projects beyond the body and is designed to be supported on the rock or analogue to be destroyed, the tool being retained in the body by at least a transverse key (13). One of the keys (13) retaining the tool passes through aligned holes provided in the body (2), into the wear sleeve (3), and overlaps inside the inner cylindrical space of the sleeve, the tool (4) having a transverse groove (12) for the key (13) to pass through.
