Abstract: Systems and methods are provided that build and publish online documents. Source files of the online documents are automatically built into a book and published on a web site for review. A report regarding the build is provided to the author of the documents. The author can use the report to determine whether the build was successful, and whether manual intervention is necessary. The books are also archived.

Abstract: A system and method for evaluating the integrity of a set of electronically stored files that contain hypertext links or other types of file references. The set of files may be received in compressed or uncompressed form. An integrity evaluator evaluates each file in the set of files for one or more integrity conditions or violations. The integrity evaluator may determine whether any of the files include no references to other files, or are not referenced by any other files. The integrity evaluator may also test for broken references, references employing absolute path names, invalid symbols within references, and other conditions. A report module issues a report regarding the integrity of the files and their references.

Abstract: A computer implemented method for updating alt attribute values in a data set. The application includes a file server for storing one or more file sets. The server is communicatively coupled to an attribute engine. The attribute engine is also communicatively coupled to an attribute database, wherein image data from the file sets are stored. The attribute database is communicatively coupled to a browser via an attribute portal, wherein an editor can edit alt attribute text values. The attribute engine updates the image data contained in the attribute database, based upon data of images in the file set. The attribute engine also updates the file set based upon the alt attribute values in the attribute database. Thus an editor can add or change alt attribute values in the file set via a browser.
