Publication number: 20240173575Abstract: A method of improving a neurodegenerative or cognitive disorder in a human patient suffering therefrom is provided by determining a target site of the human patient's brain that is affected by the neurodegenerative disorder or cognitive disorder and providing a therapy to the human patient. The therapy includes applying a low intensity focused ultrasound (LiFUS) sonication via an ultrasound delivery device to the target site based on an imaging parameter, a microbubble cavitation; an optical parameter, a bodily fluid parameter, or a physiological or anatomical parameter of the human patient's brain. A therapeutic agent is introduced to the target site before, after or during application of the LiFUS sonication.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 24, 2023Publication date: May 30, 2024Inventors: Ali R. Publication number: 20230352141Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for providing focused ultrasound treatment. A patient is screened to determine if focused ultrasound treatment is appropriate for the patient to treat a disorder. The patient is monitored to measure a plurality of wellness-related parameters for the patient and detect or predict an onset of symptoms associated with the disorder from the wellness-related parameters if focused ultrasound treatment has been determined to be appropriate. A personalized location for focused ultrasound treatment is determined for the patient according to at least one of the wellness-related parameters. At least one parameter associated with the focused ultrasound treatment is selected according to at least one of the wellness-related parameters. Focused ultrasound treatment is provided to the patient at the selected location using the selected at least one parameter.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 1, 2023Publication date: November 2, 2023Inventors: Ali Rezai, Victor Finomore, James Mahoney, Clay Marsh, Jeff Carpenter, Pierre D'haese, Marc Haut, Annahita Amireskandari

Publication number: 20170206587Abstract: A method of generating a tire recommendation includes receiving vehicle data and historical driving data of a user, retrieving, by a computer, a first set of tire names having associated vehicle fitment data that corresponds to the vehicle data, and selecting, by the computer, a first criteria based on the historical driving data. The method further includes identifying a final set of tire names, by identifying tire names in the first set of tire names that have associated tire performance data that meet the first criteria. The method also includes identifying, by the computer, a tire name from the final set of tire names having a highest associated sales history datum as a first tire recommendation, and displaying, by the computer, the first tire recommendation.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 30, 2017Publication date: July 20, 2017Applicant: DEALER TIRE, LLCInventors: Matthew NEIDERT, Maurio POWELL, Jim GRANT, Carey JAROS, Gary BAILEY, Jeff CARPENTER

Patent number: 6105624Abstract: A fabric which is formed by a weaving system designed to automatically maintain a printed pattern in alignment with a woven pattern as the fabric is being formed. The printed pattern is printed onto the warp yarns. A controller is used to monitor the position of the printed pattern during the weaving process relative to the position of a woven pattern that is being formed into the fabric. Should the printed pattern and woven pattern fall out of alignment, the controller then alters the longitudinal size of the woven pattern, the printed pattern, or both patterns, in order to realign the patterns.Type: GrantFiled: May 12, 1999Date of Patent: August 22, 2000Assignee: Tietex International, Inc.Inventors: Martin Wildeman, Jeff A. Carpenter, Lawrence F. Houghton
