Abstract: A system, method and apparatus for providing TeleFamiliarization of a remote location to a plurality of users connected to a network is provided. The system comprises a plurality of real time sensory data gathering devices that can be manipulated remotely by the users of the system. The real time data provided by this system permits users to observe social traffic and patronage of a participating location remotely. The data assists users in their decision making process by allowing the user to assess the genre of a venue, assess patronage (quantity and quality), assess the venue's facilities and layout (handicap accessible, bathroom locations, menu), and to assist in determining whether the user will ultimately attend the venue. The system further comprises an interactive floor plan of the premise which will disclose to the users the locations of the installed sensory data gathering devices.
