  • Patent number: 6697237
Abstract: The present invention concerns an improved ground fault circuit interrupt outlet. The device includes a voltage sensitive device which is capable of conducting current at a predetermined voltage. The voltage sensitive device is electrically connected between a ground on the ground fault circuit interrupt outlet and a neutral located on the ground fault circuit interrupt outlet. Arranging the device in this manner converts the ground fault circuit interrupt outlet into a ground fault circuit interrupt with open neutral protection.

  • Patent number: 6404267
Abstract: An improved circuit for activating a high side mosfet drive during a predetermined phase of the A/C cycle. The circuit includes an electronic switch which is connected to an A/C line. The switch operates between an open and closed position. Also included is a mosfet drive connected to the A/C line. The mosfet drive is activated when the switch is in an open position and is deactivated when the switch is in a closed position. The circuit may also include a capacitor connected to the A/C line. The capacitor is charged during the positive phase of the A/C cycle and powers the mosfet drive during the negative portion of the A/C cycle when the switch is in an open position.

  • Patent number: 6326622
Abstract: An outdoor light using a motion sensor that activates the light when motion is sensed by changes in the infrared signal detected. The device uses a passive infrared detector network to sense infrared and to produce an analog signal in response to said infrared detected which is then passed through an amplifier to a signal controlled oscillator. The signal is converted into a digital signal which is used to detect motion by a logic device.

  • Patent number: 6072304
Abstract: An improved trigger circuitry for a high side thyristor application having a thyristor connected to an A/C line, a capacitor connected across the A/C line to A/C neutral through impedance, an electronic switch connected from the thyristor to the junction of the capacitor and associate impedance. During the positive portion of the A/C cycle, the thyristor is triggered in quadrant III via the switch and the capacitor is charged. During the negative portion of the A/C cycle, the discharge of the capacitor triggers quadrant II of the thyristor via the switch.
