Publication number: 20170086570Abstract: A bag holder having a handle with a first curved bag holder support and a second curved bag holder support defining first and second bag holding spaces, respectively, at opposing ends of the handle. Bag handles can be placed in the bag holding spaces at each end of the handle to provide a sufficiently balanced load for carrying. A bag holding notch can be formed within the bottom surface of the handle, which allows the handles of one or more bags to be placed therein, such that the weight is supported by the handle in an inverted position. One or more receiving notches extending off of the bag holding notch can allow the bag holder to be hung on a hanger support.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 7, 2016Publication date: March 30, 2017Inventors: JEFF LLOYD, MORGAN LAMPP

Publication number: 20130046681Abstract: Method and means of deterring speeding are disclosed. A plurality of detection devices positioned along a road detect a transmission device mounted in a vehicle as it passes in proximity to the detection devices. Each transmission device is identifiable to a registered user via an identifier unique to the transmission device. When a vehicle carrying a transmission device passes a detection device, the unique identifier and the time of the vehicle's passing are stored. Known distances between the plurality of detection devices enable calculation of average speed of the vehicle using the time stamps of the vehicle's passing between any two detection devices. If the vehicle's average speed exceeds an acceptable speed for that portion of road, the registered user is notified, thereby deterring future speeding. A fine can be deducted from an account associated with the registered user or the registered user's transmission device.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 23, 2011Publication date: February 21, 2013Inventor: JEFF LLOYD

Patent number: 7229094Abstract: A tandem axle suspension assembly includes a pair of walking beams disposed substantially parallel to a vehicle longitudinal axis supporting first and second axles. A link plate is pivotally attached to each of the walking beams and is pivotal about an axis transverse to the longitudinal axis. A first and a second link include pivotal connections between the link plate and a vehicle frame member. Vertical movement of the walking beams causes a corresponding rotation of the link plate to compensate for longitudinal displacement of the pivotal links with the first and second links and minimize longitudinal displacement of the walking beams.Type: GrantFiled: May 25, 2004Date of Patent: June 12, 2007Assignee: ArvinMeritor Technology, LLCInventors: Steven R. Miller, Mark P. Reynolds, James Eckelberry, Robert P. Carlstedt, Daniel G. Chien, Kenneth G. Lang, Martin Peaker, Nancy L. Saxon, Jos Timmermann, Jeff Lloyd, James Grant, Richard M. Clisch

Publication number: 20050263986Abstract: A vehicle suspension assembly includes a control rod pivotally connected between a vehicle frame and an axle. The control rod controls longitudinal and vertical movement of the axle. A spring member is pivotally connected to the frame and fixed to the axle. Air spring assemblies are mounted between the axle and frame. The rigidly mounted spring member exerts torsion forces on the axle to counter roll forces and the air spring assemblies provide favorable ride characteristics adaptable to various trailer load conditions.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 26, 2004Publication date: December 1, 2005Inventors: Steven Miller, Mark Reynolds, James Eckelberry, Robert Carlstedt, Daniel Chien, Kenneth Lang, Martin Peaker, Nancy Saxon, Jos Timmermans, Jeff Lloyd

Publication number: 20050029062Abstract: A steerable front suspension system provides a strut isolator assembly that is supported upon a bearing assembly mounted to a frame bracket. The forces upon a piston rod are transferred to the frame bracket through the strut isolator assembly that is rotationally supported upon the bearing assembly. The forces upon a spring assembly pass through an upper spring mount, a flange portion of the strut isolator assembly, the bearing assembly and into the frame bracket. An air bag is mounted to a jounce bumper bracket. An annular piston rod seal such as an O-ring seal is mounted about a reduced diameter piston rod segment adjacent a step upon which the jounce bumper bracket is located. The air chamber formed by the air bag is thusly sealed to the piston rod by the annular retainer and the annular piston rod seal.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 7, 2003Publication date: February 10, 2005Inventors: Simon Dean, Jeff Lloyd
