Abstract: An auction system for conducting an online auction of merchandise in a plurality of lots presented on a webpage between a bidder and a seller in a communication network. The system having a host computer associated with an auction host, a bidder computer and a seller computer coupled to the host computer. The computers include a computer usable medium having a plurality of program code to execute instructions associated the auction, including program codes for administering and managing the auction, defining the webpage interface, updating of dynamic elements within the webpage in real-time, enabling negotiation of a sale of the merchandise.

Abstract: A modular railing comprises a picket that may be coupled with a rail quickly and easily to allow a person to construct a railing quickly and easily. The railing comprises a rail having an interior chamber, a picket including a slot that is disposed in the interior chamber of the rail, and a locking element operable to couple the picket with the rail by causing at least one arm to protrude from the slot and positioning the arm such that the arm extends from the slot into the interior chamber. When extended into the interior chamber, the arm prevents the picket from leaving the rail's interior chamber by contacting a wall of the rail.

Abstract: A lighted sign display assembly includes a housing a lens aperture formed at a base end of the housing. The lens aperture secures a lens to the housing within the lens aperture, and the lens has areas that are formed to convey visual information. A lens removal aperture is formed near the base end of the housing to receive an object that applies a force to the lens to remove the lens from the aperture. At least one mounting projection is formed near the base end of the housing, each mounting projection receiving a mounting device to secure the display assembly to a desired object. An illumination assembly is secured in an aperture formed at an end of the housing opposite the lens aperture. The housing includes a temperature aperture formed to provide ventilation to dissipate heat generated by the illumination assembly. A reflective coating covers the interior surface of the housing, with the reflective coating reflecting light generated by the illumination assembly towards the lens.
