  • Patent number: 11915541
Abstract: A display, as for an electronic gaming machine, includes one or more rotatable mechanical reels including at least one variable displaying position at which the display may be varied. Content is displayed at the variable displaying position when the variable displaying position registers with the display. One or more reels can include a reel strip which includes at one location a pre-printed symbol and at another location a window. A video display can be arranged, configured and controlled by a processor to cast a display at the inside of the reel to impart light and video effects to pre-printed symbol locations or to cast video content through the reel strip window.

  • Publication number: 20230280980
Abstract: A method for finding the first one bit in a vector groups the bits of the vector into pairs of adjacent bits. Within each pair of two the presence or absence of a one bit is identified and the position determined. There may be multiple levels so a second level groups has inputs based on the determinations from the two pairs. Based on the inputs the presence of absence of a one bit is determined and, if present, the position within the respective bits of the vector. This can be repeated over multiple levels.

  • Patent number: 9766649
Abstract: A system is based on an IC. A first component of the IC generates a signal that clocks the IC at a target operating frequency. A period corresponding to the target clock frequency exceeds a duration of a longest critical path associated with the IC. The first component and synchronous logic of the IC clocked therewith, each functions with the core supply voltage, which may be supplied to each via the same power supply rail. A second IC component detects errors that relate to an operation of the IC at the target clock frequency and determines a level for adjusting the core supply voltage. The Vdd adjustment ameliorates the frequency error. The voltage determination uses closed loop dynamic voltage and frequency scaling.

  • Patent number: 5525222
Abstract: Disclosed herein are improvements to a water filtration system on a water intake line that prevent the infestation of Zebra Mussels in the water system. The water filtration system filters any water entering the water intake line through a filter having a largest pore size that is small enough to prevent the passage of an eggs or veliger of Zebra Mussels. To prevent accumulation of Zebra Mussels on the filters and the filtration unit, copper screens surround the filters and the water intake to the filtration system. The filters are also provided with threaded ends to facilitate easy and reliable removal and replacement of the filters when needed.
