Abstract: A method and system for automating the de-icing/anti-icing of an aircraft that includes the generation of a treatment plan that incudes input from at least one weather source. The treatment plan may then be reviewed by a pilot to any updates. After being finalized, the treatment plan is distributed to at least one de-icing vehicle to perform the de-icing/anti-icing of the aircraft. During execution of the de-icing/anti-icing, real-time updates may be provided by the system to the pilot of the aircraft.

Abstract: A system for automated de-icing or contamination removal of an aircraft. The system includes a mobile platform, the mobile platform including a set of wheels and a swerve drive for controlling movement of the set of wheels along with a contamination removal apparatus mounted to the mobile platform for delivering contamination removal treatment to the aircraft. The system also includes a processor for receiving instructions associated with the contamination removal treatment from an external party and for controlling the mobile platform and contamination apparatus to deliver the contamination removal treatment.

Abstract: A method and system for automating de-icing procedures for aircraft including the transmission of messages and illumination of guidance lights for pilots to direct their aircraft for de-icing. The system further includes apparatus for generating a safety zone to provide further protection of damage or injury to personnel or aircraft or de-icing machinery.
