  • Patent number: 10112549
Abstract: The Vehicle Ladder Mounting System is comprised of two parallel or nearly parallel (angled) guide rails and one or two end accepting means. The embodiments of the Ladder Mounting System can be easily adapted, augmented, and modified because of the structure of the guide rails (or aluminum channels in the guide rails). The vehicle ladder mounting system can be mounted to a tubular or solid cross-member by a clamping means using a universal mounting clamp. The design of the embodiments of the Ladder Mounting System allows for multiple configurations as the guide rails can be adjusted to fit the width and/or angle of the ladder. The design of the embodiments of the Ladder Mounting System allows the width and/or angle to be fixed by means of the use of interior cross-member assemblies thus forming a cradle to support the ladder.

  • Publication number: 20150048127
Abstract: Embodiments of the Ergonomic Ladder Rack are comprised of two or more fixed cross-members, one or more inner axis rods, one or more stops, two or more ladder support arms, one or more fluid or gas filled dampers, two or more ladder hooks, two or more ladder stop/securing arms, one or more connecting tubes, and a handle assembly. The cross-members are spaced on the vehicle in such a way as to traverse much of the length of the vehicle. The inner axis rod is placed perpendicular through apertures formed by the fixed cross-members. The connecting tubes extend between each fixed cross-member allow each ladder support arms to rotate in combination with the others. The handle assembly is comprised of a handle, a pair of support braces, a handle axis tube, a bat wing bracket, a rear bushing, a front bushing, and a securing bolt.

  • Patent number: 8205717
Abstract: The instant invention, the Vehicle Ladder Mounting System, is comprised of a rail assembly, a plurality of support assemblies, one or more security assemblies, and one or more accessory assemblies. The rail assembly of the instant invention is comprised of two parallel rails connected by a plurality of cross-member assemblies. The instant invention can be easily adapted, augmented, and modified because of the structure of the aluminum channel. The design of the instant invention allows for multiple configurations as the rail can be attached to the punched pattern in many configurations via a bolt-nut combination. The instant invention is also comprised of assemblies that can be used to stack ladders on a vehicle. The instant invention is also comprised of an inclined ladder rack assembly and accessory attachments such as the shovel holders, beacon support, and inclined beacon support.
