  • Patent number: 11979376
Abstract: A method of and system for utilizing an access token to authenticate a client device for accessing a resource server include generating a session key for a communication session between the device and a resource server, deriving a nonce from the session key, and transmitting a request to an identity platform for authenticating the device to access the resource server, where the request includes the nonce. Upon confirmation of authentication, the method and system may include receiving an access token from the identity platform, the access token including information that confirms authentication of the device, and transmitting the access token to the resource server to enable access to the resource server, where the access token includes the nonce.

  • Patent number: 11412391
Abstract: An intermediate power supply unit for distributing lower voltage power to remote devices is disclosed. The intermediate power supply unit includes a higher voltage power input configured to receive power distributed by a power source and a power coupling circuit configured to couple the higher voltage power input to a plurality of power coupling outputs. If it is determined that a wire coupling the power source to the higher voltage power input is touched, the higher voltage power input is decoupled from the power coupling outputs. The intermediate power supply unit also includes a power converter circuit configured to convert voltage on higher voltage inputs to a lower voltage applied to one or more lower voltage outputs. The power converter circuit is also configured to distribute power from the one or more lower voltage outputs over a power conductor coupled to an assigned remote device.

  • Patent number: 10621512
Abstract: A wearable computing device is described that predicts, based on movement detected, over time, by the wearable computing device, one or more future periods of time during which the wearable computing device will not be used. Responsive to determining that the wearable computing device is not being used at a current time, the wearable computing device determines whether the current time coincides with at least one period of time from the one or more future periods of time. Responsive to determining that the current time coincides with the at least one period of time, the wearable computing device performs an operation.

  • Patent number: 10353761
Abstract: Described herein are apparatuses, methods, and computer readable media for asynchronous sensing and/or validating of data using a first sensor and a second sensor for a purpose of transforming input data into validated output data when at least one attribute of external data or the input data, as determined by a sensor, is missing. The external data is associated with the input data and is used for determining a set of attributes for the first sensor. The asynchronous sensing and/or validating of the input data enables faster transforming of the input data into the validated output data.
