Abstract: Golf clubs, and more particularly to a golf putter and a club head for a putter are disclosed. In one embodiment, the club head has a body having a club face, a first extension portion at the first end of the club face extending in a direction either outwardly, or rearwardly and outwardly away from the center of the club face; and a second extension portion at the second end of the club face extending in a direction either outwardly, or rearwardly and outwardly away from the center of the club face. In this embodiment, at least one of the first and second extension portions forms an angle of greater than or equal to about 40°, 45°, or some other suitable angle, and less than or equal to about 90° from an imaginary line oriented perpendicular to the club face and passing through at least one of the outermost portion of the club face at the heel or the toe of the club face.

Abstract: A golf club shaft having an exterior with a non-circular cross-section along at least a portion of its length is disclosed. In one embodiment, the cross-section of the exterior of the shaft along an intermediate portion of the shaft between the butt end and the tip end is non-circular. In this embodiment, the cross-section of the exterior of the shaft at the end regions containing the butt and tip ends of the shaft may be circular. The cross-section of the intermediate portion may be any suitable shape, such as a symmetrical shape. In one version of such an embodiment, the cross-section of the exterior of the shaft along an intermediate portion of the shaft is substantially triangular in configuration.

Abstract: Improved perimeter weighted golf clubs are disclosed. The perimeter weighted golf clubs of the present invention are provided with improved structures for distributing the weight at the perimeter of the club head. In one embodiment, the club head has a club face with a hitting surface and a thinned portion outboard of the hitting surface which connects the hitting surface and the weighted perimeter of the club head. In another embodiment, the club head has a tubular frame which surrounds and supports at least a portion of the hitting surface.

Abstract: Golf clubs having improved features and a golf swing training device are disclosed. In one embodiment, the golf club has a club head made of at least one material having a first specific gravity, and at least one weighting portion that has a higher specific gravity than the first specific gravity of the material forming the main body of the club head. In another embodiment, the golf club has a club head of the “iron” type, and the club head has a sole that is provided with “bounce” thereon. In another embodiment, the golf club has a club head of the “iron” type that has a configuration that provides it with improved ability to cut through the “rough” on the golf course. In another embodiment, the golf club has a club head having a club face with at least one portion thereof that has a thickness that is modified to account for a groove in the striking surface of the club face.

Abstract: A sports glove, such as a golf glove, baseball batting glove, or other type of glove is disclosed. In one non-limiting embodiment, the sports glove has a fastener made of a breathable material. In another embodiment, the sports glove has a fastener with apertures therein. In another embodiment, the sports glove has a container joined thereto that can be used for storing the glove after use. In another embodiment, the sports glove is provided with one or more regions comprising extensible material. In another embodiment, the sports glove is provided with an extensible fastener. In some embodiments, any portion of the glove, such as the fingers and/or the palm and back of the glove, may be provided in a pre-formed curved configuration.
