    Abstract: A two-piece child resistant closure having projections on the top of the inner cap. These projections are accessible through the open center of the outer cap top to assist the user in unthreading the container. This provides a user friendly closure for the elderly and arthritically impaired while still maintaining the usual child resistant opening feature, which can, for example, require a simultaneous push and turn movement.
