Abstract: A method and system for supplying control signals to two or more force actuators wherein each of the two or more force actuators having a defined force value. The method includes sending a first set of control signals to each of the actuators to ramp forces supplied to reach the defined force value at a same initial defined value time and sending a second set of control signals to each of the actuators to reduce the forces supplied starting at a same final defined value time to individual set point values, and wherein each of the two of more force actuators reach their individual set point values at a same set point time.

  • Publication number: 20220237958
Abstract: A system comprising one or more computing devices implements a vehicle information extraction service. The vehicle information extraction service enables customers to provide access to proprietary encoding protocols used by the customers to communicate over a bus of a vehicle, wherein the proprietary protocols are used by the vehicle information extraction service to perform vehicle information monitoring, while at the same time protecting the confidentiality of the proprietary protocols from being accessed by third parties. Also, the vehicle information extraction service enables streaming of relevant vehicle information corresponding to customer defined event criteria without requiring non-relevant vehicle information to be streamed, which would consume considerable network resources.

  • Patent number: 11398299
Abstract: A system for predicting and summarizing medical events from electronic health records includes a computer memory storing aggregated electronic health records from a multitude of patients of diverse age, health conditions, and demographics including medications, laboratory values, diagnoses, vital signs, and medical notes. The aggregated electronic health records are converted into a single standardized data structure format and ordered arrangement per patient, e.g., into a chronological order. A computer (or computer system) executes one or more deep learning models trained on the aggregated health records to predict one or more future clinical events and summarize pertinent past medical events related to the predicted events on an input electronic health record of a patient having the standardized data structure format and ordered into a chronological order.

  • Publication number: 20220211540
Abstract: A penile prophylactic device for enhancing fellatio by providing guided licking as directed by a flavor ridge running along a top portion and/or a bottom portion of the device. The device can be made from a polymeric material, such as LDPE. The flavor ridge serves to provide tactile guidance to the tongue of the person licking the penis covered by the prophylactic device, such that the wearer of the device experiences pleasurable sensations while the flavor ridge is licked along its length. Optionally attached to the opening of the prophylactic device is an elastic band configured to securely hold the opening of the device in place along a proximal portion of the penis. The elastic band can be stretched so as to be constrict around a proximal portion of the penis. The device empowers both giver and receiver of fellatio to enjoy enhanced sensations, while being protected from STD transmission.

  • Publication number: 20220211539
Abstract: A prophylactic device for protecting a scrotum of a human male. The device includes a sack configured to contain a scrotum of a human male, and made from low-density polyethylene (LDPE). The device also includes a flavor strip running up and down an outside surface of the sack. Optionally attached to an opening of the sack is a silicone ring that has at least one sleeve to receive and secure a vibrator. The silicone ring can be stretched so as to be worn around the upper portion of the scrotum, or a portion of a penis near the scrotum. The invention empowers both giver and receiver to partake in scrotal licking, without worrying about STD transmission.

  • Patent number: 11366797
Abstract: A method performs large-scale data processing in a distributed and parallel processing environment. The method defines application-independent map and reduce operations, each invoking one or more library functions that automatically handle data partitioning, parallelization of computations, and fault tolerance. A user specifies a map operation, which calls one or more of the application-independent map operators to perform data read and write operations. A user also specifies a reduce operation, which calls one or more of the application-independent reduce operators to perform data read and write operations. The method executes application-independent map worker processes. Each map worker process executes the user-specified map operation to read designated portions of input files and store intermediate data values in intermediate data structures. The method also executes application-independent reduce worker processes.

  • Publication number: 20220171781
Abstract: Systems and methods for analyzing input data records are provided in which a master process initiates a plurality of concurrent first processes each of which comprises, for each data record in at least a subset of a plurality of input data records, creating a parsed representation of the data record and independently applying a procedural language query to the parsed representation to extract one or more values. A respective emit operator is applied to at least one of the extracted one or more values thereby adding corresponding information to a respective intermediate data structure. The respective emit operator implements one of a predefined set of statistical information processing functions. The master process also initiates a plurality of second processes each of which aggregates information from a corresponding subset of intermediate data structures to produce aggregated data that is, in turn, combined to produce output data.

  • Patent number: 11281631
Abstract: A method of accessing data includes storing a table that includes a plurality of tablets corresponding to distinct non-overlapping table portions. Respective pluralities of tablet access objects and application objects are stored in a plurality of servers. A distinct application object and distinct tablet are associated with each tablet access object. Each application object corresponds to a distinct instantiation of an application associated with the table. The tablet access objects and associated application objects are redistributed among the servers in accordance with a first load-balancing criterion. A first request directed to a respective tablet is received from a client. In response, the tablet access object associated with the respective tablet is used to perform a data access operation on the respective tablet, and the application object associated with the respective tablet is used to perform an additional computational operation to produce a result to be returned to the client.

  • Patent number: 11247315
Abstract: Impact wrenches of the present invention generally include a handle including a slide hammer that is movable relative to a head end of the wrenches. The head includes a force translation portion positioned to translate force applied to the force translation portion from the slide hammer to rotate a tool connected to the force translation portion. When the tool is engaged with a rotatable fitting a substantially linear force applied with the slide hammer may be translated to the tool, which converts at least a portion of the force to a rotational force to loosen or tighten the fitting.

  • Publication number: 20220040796
Abstract: A fixture used in the manufacture of an eyepiece, to cut the eyepiece to a particular shape, and a method of using the fixture to cut the eyepiece to have a desired shape. Embodiments are directed to a configurable fixture to align, hold, and protect a plastic sheet (e.g., a wafer) while a laser cutting apparatus is cutting one or more eyepieces out of the wafer. During the cutting, the fixture protects the eyepieces from reflected laser light by providing voids around the laser cutting lines, and by supporting each eyepiece near its perimeter. The fixture can be quickly rearranged for different eyepieces, different eyepiece shapes, and/or different plastic sheet sizes.
