  • Patent number: 9751545
Abstract: A system includes a communication module and an analysis module. The communication module is configured to be operably connectable to a wayside unit of a transportation network and to transmit a simulation message to the wayside unit. The simulation message simulates at least one of a request or command from at least one transportation network element corresponding to a wayside action to be performed by the wayside unit. The simulation message is configured to elicit a wayside message from the wayside unit upon receipt of the simulation message. The analysis module is configured to obtain the wayside message and to provide a display corresponding to the wayside message.

  • Patent number: 8468864
Abstract: An adjustment mechanism kit to convert an existing machine having incumbent, or existing, mechanisms to incorporate replacement or upgraded mechanisms. Depending on the application, it may be necessary to adjust the elevation of the replacement mechanisms in order to accommodate tooling attached (or to be attached) thereto. For example, in the case where the replacement tooling and support bar assembly is taller than the existing, or incumbent, tooling and support bar assembly, the replacement support bar assembly may be mounted at a lower elevation relative to the existing equipment in order to provide clearance to a framework, for instance. As such, the kits include not only the replacement mechanisms but the necessary mounts and adaptors for adjusting the elevation of the mechanisms. Various portions of the kit may be combined and packaged as separate kits.

  • Publication number: 20060149487
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and system for suspending the processing of laboratory test results in a computerized environment. One or more test results from an instrument in a healthcare laboratory are received. It is determined whether the instrument has had a quality control procedure performed within a predefined period. If not, the processing of the one or more test results is suspended until the quality control procedure has been performed on the instrument. If the quality control procedure has been performed within the predefined period, it is determined whether the quality control procedure performed indicates that the instrument is performing properly. If not, the processing of the one or more test results is suspended until the quality control issue is resolved.
