  • Patent number: 5575864
Abstract: A method for cleaning a hard surface with concentrated all-purpose liquid cleaning compositions that contain high levels of surfactants and solvents and which exhibit improved cleaning performance and homogeneity in solution. A preferred formulation incorporates an actives systems of a three component mixture: an anionic surfactant such as alkyl ethoxy sulfates, alkyl ethoxy carboxylates and mixtures thereof, a nonionic surfactant such as fatty alcohol ethoxylates, nonylphenol ethoxylates, alkylpolyglycosides and mixtures thereof, a glycol ether solvent and optional ingredients to provide a concentrated cleaning composition which can be diluted to the desired strength.

  • Patent number: 5531939
Abstract: Concentrated liquid glass and window cleaning compositions are disclosed containing high levels of solvents and exhibiting improved cleaning performance and homogeneity in solution. A preferred formulation includes sodium methyl oleoyl taurate, dioctyl sodium sulfosuccinate, a glycol ether solvent mixture and water and other optional ingredients to provide a concentrated cleaning composition which can be diluted by the end user to desired strength. Another preferred embodiment discloses a method of using a concentrated liquid glass and window cleaning composition.

  • Patent number: 4946619
Abstract: A stable bleaching and brightening composition is provided comprising(a) an active halogen source;(b) an amine oxide surfactant;(c) a stilbene sulfonic acid type FWA and(d) a pH adjusting agent; and wherein the ratio of amine oxide:FWA is 3:1 to 10:1.A preferred method for making the composition is to prepare a concentrated surfactant solution of at least 20% surfactant, then dissolve the FWA therein to form a stable premix. The active halogen source, pH adjusting agent and any option ingredients are then combined with the premix. The resulting composition has good brightener and hypochlorite stability, and good brightener solubility.
