  • Publication number: 20240106975
Abstract: A system for collaborative video recording is described. The system may include a reference clock configured to track a reference time. The system may provide, to a plurality of recording devices, a synchronization code for a collaborative video recording session. The system may identify the plurality of recording devices as participants in the collaborative video recording session. The collaborative video recording session may include broadcasting one or more synchronization signals to synchronize the plurality of recording devices to the reference time tracked by the reference clock. The collaborative video recording session may include receiving a plurality of videos from the plurality of recording devices, wherein the plurality of videos comprise timestamps based on synchronization to the reference time. The collaborative video recording session may include generating a shared timeline for the plurality of videos, wherein the shared timeline synchronizes the timestamps between the plurality of videos.

  • Patent number: 11502899
Abstract: A method and technique for utilizing user feedback of product installation includes initiating, on a client computing system by a user, an install module of a product to install an instance of the product on the client computing system according to a default installation process. The install module interfaces with a server system and retrieves feedback data collected by the server system in connection with prior installations of the product. The install module creates a modified installation sequence for the product on the client computing system from the default installation process based on the retrieved feedback data and then installs the instance of the product on the client computing system according to the modified installation process.

  • Patent number: 11329987
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to protecting enterprise computing resources by implementing an optical air gap system. A computing platform may receive, from an external communications server, a message. The computing platform then may generate an image representation of the message received from the external communications server. Subsequently, the computing platform may execute an optical character recognition (OCR) process on the image representation of the message, which may produce a recreated message. Then, the computing platform may validate contents of the recreated message. Based on validating the contents of the recreated message, the computing platform may send, to an enterprise communications server, the recreated message, and sending the recreated message to the enterprise communications server may cause the enterprise communications server to deliver the recreated message to at least one enterprise user computing device.

  • Patent number: 10594550
Abstract: A method and technique for utilizing user feedback of product installation includes receiving, by a first install module executing on a server, feedback data associated with an installation of a first instance of a product on a first client computing system. The first install module assesses the feedback data and, based on the assessment of the feedback data, modifies a default installation sequence for the product to create a modified installation sequence. The first install module receives a communication from a second client computing system installing a second instance of the product on a second client computing system and interfaces with a second install module provided by the product executing on the second client computing system to communicate the modified installation sequence for installing the second instance of the product on the second client computing system by the second install module.

  • Patent number: 8756871
Abstract: A spacer comprising: a) a wall insert weather sealing cup portion having a peripheral sidewall, and a bottom sidewall which seats on a structural frame of the building; and, b) a structurally reinforced bend prevention bolt spacing sleeve portion mated to fit within the cup portion, the sleeve portion having an central axial bolt opening therethrough. After an exterior side of the structural frame of the building is sheathed the sealing cup portion can be directly attached to the structural frame of the building through a hole drilled through a wall sheathing. When the sheathed wall is finished the cup portion can be sealed in the finish thereby preventing moisture from penetrating through the wall at the enlarged hole; and, when the addition is screwed to the existing building's frame, a substantial bending moment on the screws can be sustained by the structurally reinforced bend prevention bolt spacing sleeve portion.

  • Patent number: 8571913
Abstract: Described are methods and mechanisms for managing data within a calendaring framework. The method includes receiving task data, which is distributed into one or more tasks associated with a category, and receiving time slot data, which defines one or more time slots within the calendaring framework and associates each category with at least one time slot. The method additionally includes determining a location for each task within the one or more time slots that are associated with the same category based on a task prioritization value, and determining a location for each action item within the one or more time slots that are associated with the same category based on the task location determination, an action item prioritization value, and an estimated completion time. The method further includes populating the time slots within the calendaring framework with the action items based on the action item location determination.
