Publication number: 20240166161Abstract: An off-road vehicle includes a control module which limits power source rotational speed beneath a controlled rotational speed value based both on whether a protection device such as a safety belt is engaged or disengaged and on whether the vehicle velocity is greater than or less than a velocity threshold. If the safety belt becomes disengaged while the power source is spinning above the controlled rotational speed value, the control module gradually and safely reduces power source rotational speed. If/when the safety belt becomes reengaged, the control module logic will ensure that the power source rotational speed is released from the controlled first value without immediate change in vehicle response. The invention effectively reduces safety hazards of safety belt disengagement while not creating safety hazards of its own in a wide range of discussed situations.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 15, 2023Publication date: May 23, 2024Inventors: Haifeng Liang, Linglong Meng, Jeffrey D. Patent number: 7386804Abstract: A hardware and software system including a controller that can be operatively combined with several methods of display on a display screen under software and hardware control for the purpose of browsing through data stored in a memory device. The browsing of the data stored in a memory device is facilitated in such a way that it allows a rapid view of what contents are present and the organization of the material in the data, as well as rapid access to the items in the data involved. The controllers in the system have specialized functions for effecting various actions on the data displayed on the display screen in such a way that users can rapidly browse through the data involved. The methods of display may include interaction with CD-R, CD-RW, DVD, a portable optical large volume storage disk, a portable large volume non-optical storage medium, a TV, and an HDTV.Type: GrantFiled: September 15, 2003Date of Patent: June 10, 2008Assignee: E-Book Systems Pte.
