  • Publication number: 20170087713
Abstract: A cellular device assembly wherein the assembly has a mounting arrangement and an elongated, extendable support system. The cellular device assembly is used to inspect roofs for damage or gutters for clogs. A homeowner securely attaches his cellular device to the mounting arrangement and then attaches the mounting arrangement to the elongated, extendable support system. Then, the homeowner activates the video recording application on his cellular phone. Next, the homeowner may adjust the elongated, extendable support system to a desired height of his roof or gutters and record the condition of the roof and/or gutters. Once complete, the elongated, extendable support is retracted and the video footage is reviewed.

  • Patent number: 7953658
Abstract: A method, system, and computer are disclosed for managing a financial transaction associated with a financial account, wherein the transaction would cause an outstanding balance of the financial account to exceed a credit limit. The method comprises determining a merchant type for a merchant which is a party to the transaction. A merchant credit risk associated with the determined merchant type is determined. The merchant credit risk is compared to a threshold value defining an acceptable credit risk. The transaction is approved based on the comparison of the merchant credit risk with the threshold value.

  • Patent number: 7185902
Abstract: A strut suspension can include a shock-absorber/spring assembly having a lower portion mountable at one end to an upper portion of the steering knuckle. A transverse link can be connectible to the steering knuckle at a location opposite from the shock-absorber/spring assembly. A rocker arm can be supportable for pivotal movement from the vehicle body and can be pivotally connectible to the shock-absorber/spring assembly from the steering knuckle. A push rod can be pivotally connectible to the rocker arm and can extend between the rocker arm and the transverse link. The upper end of the shock-absorber/spring assembly can be connected to either an inboard or outboard portion of the rocker arm, while an upper end of the push rod is connected to the other of the outboard or inboard portion of the rocker arm.

  • Publication number: 20060198358
Abstract: A system and method for communicating data between two nodes defines a plurality of separate partitions on each node and assigns one or more subjects to at least one of the plurality of the separate partitions. The subjects in each node communicate data with each other over one or more channels. For communicating the data, the present invention separates data communications on a channel from that of other channels. More specifically, each node runs under the control of a separation kernel (SK) that partitions the nodes to define the subjects according to an SK configuration data. A partitioning communication system (PCS) separates the communications channels according to a PCS configuration data.
