  • Patent number: 7465192
Abstract: An in-line sealed electrical connector apparatus includes a female connector assembly and a male connector assembly. The female connector assembly includes a female housing, a female wire seal and a female cover. The male connector assembly includes a male housing, a retention clip, a male housing seal defining a male housing seal opening, a male wire seal and a male cover. The retention clip formed in a generally U-shaped configuration to define a generally D-shaped retention clip duct extending longitudinally through the retention clip. The generally D-shaped retention clip duct is sized to slidably receive the female housing such that, upon engaging the female connector assembly and the male connector assembly, the female housing is first received through the generally D-shaped retention clip duct and is thereafter inserted through the male housing seal opening.

  • Publication number: 20060283932
Abstract: A fluid containment and dispensing system having a RFID tag associated therewith. The fluid containment and dispensing system includes a fluid containment drum having an opening defined thereon. The fluid containment and dispensing system further includes a dispensing mechanism operably coupleable with the opening, the dispensing mechanism configured to dispense the contents of the fluid containment drum. An identification tag is coupleable with the dispensing mechanism and includes a first laminate, a second laminate laminated to the first laminate, and a RFID member disposed between the first and second laminates, wherein the RFID member includes information associated with a fluid containment and dispensing system.

  • Publication number: 20060225812
Abstract: The drum cap venting device generally includes a venting cap assembly. The venting cap assembly can include a venting cap and a venting key. The venting cap generally includes a main body portion, a valve portion and a ring portion. The venting key generally includes a key body portion and a venting tube. The venting key is rotatably engageable with the valve portion of the venting cap such that rotation of the key provides a passageway of continuous fluid communication from the drum, through conduits in the venting cap, and out the venting tube of the venting key. As a result, any release or evacuation of pressurized gasses from the drum is directed away from the user to a safe area or device.

  • Patent number: 7029328
Abstract: A connector assembly includes a connector body having a body opening at a rear end of the connector body. The body opening is adapted to receive at least one wire. The connector body has at least one terminal cavity in communication with the body opening. The at least one terminal cavity are adapted to receive terminal ends of the at least one wire. A wire seal is adapted to seal between the at least one wire and the connector body. An interface seal is configured for sealing with the connector body, and is adapted to seal with an inner sheath of a component housing. The connector body and the interface seal are configured such that the interface seal may be positioned on the connector body from the rear end.

  • Publication number: 20050029482
Abstract: A reinforced plastic valve apparatus in a preferred embodiment comprises an upper valve portion, a lower valve portion, an endoskeletal structure configured as a weir support or reinforcing member and an exoskeletal framework configured as a support collar. The upper valve portion preferably includes an upper plastic valve housing or body, a resilient diaphragm and a valve actuator. The lower valve portion comprises a lower plastic valve housing or body that is preferably configured to mate with the upper valve housing to define a valve interior. The lower valve body preferably has an integral weir which, in conjunction with the resilient diaphragm, defines a fluid passage. The diaphragm is configured to sealingly engage and disengage with the weir as effected by the valve actuator. The weir support member is disposable within the lower housing to support the weir.
