  • Publication number: 20230404762
Abstract: Systems are described for conducting minimally invasive medical interventions utilizing instruments and assemblies thereof to stabilize and/or fixate a dysfunctional sacroiliac (SI) joint. The systems include a drill guide having a bone dislodging member adapted to create a pilot SI joint opening in the dysfunctional SI joint through an incision comprising a length no greater than 3.0 cm; portions of the pilot SI joint opening being disposed in the sacrum and ilium bone structures. The drill guide includes a tri-mode fixation system adapted to position and stabilize the drill guide during creation of the pilot SI joint opening in the dysfunctional SI joint and delivery of the SI joint prosthesis therein.

  • Patent number: 10710263
Abstract: A cutting roll assembly 10 for severing pieces from a length of material and advanced into proximity thereto includes a cutting roll cartridge 12 removably attached to an associated base 26 and frame 28. The cutting roll cartridge 12 includes a cutter roll 16 carrying at least one cutter blade 18 on its periphery and an anvil roll 14 used to cut material thereagainst as material is advanced between the rolls 16, 18. When the cutters 18 need repair, the cutting roll cartridge 12 is readily removable from the associated frame 28 and base 26 and replaceable by an identical cartridge to reduce downtime of the associated equipment.

  • Publication number: 20130226628
Abstract: Methods for matching a first user of an online service site to a second user for jointly attending an event of mutual interest are disclosed. A first event query is received from the first user. In response, a first event listing including the event of mutual interest is transmitted to the first computer system. A selection of this event is received, together with an admission matching proposal therefor. A corresponding admission availability entry is added to an event announcement page, which is subsequently transmitted to a second user. If the second user so desires and so selects, then an admission matching offer is received by the online service site.

  • Patent number: 7900655
Abstract: A method for repairing and reinforcing a pipeline includes covering a defect in a pipeline section with a composite wrap, isolating the wrap from the ambient environment, and applying a compressive force on the wrap so that the pressure on the wrap is substantially equal to the pipeline pressure. Isolating the wrap involves the use of a housing having a cavity that substantially conforms to the shape of the wrapped section. The cavity may contain a pressurized gas or liquid. Because the pressure acting on the surface of the wrap is at least substantially equal to the pressure of the pipeline section, the wrap cures as if the pipeline is at zero pressure. Once the wrap has effectively cured, the compressive force may be relieved and the housing removed. The composite is now under load and is immediately sharing load with the pipeline.

  • Patent number: 6580962
Abstract: In a method for aligning a spatial array of pattern pieces comprising a marker, a work material processing apparatus defining a support surface adapted to carry work material is provided and at least one layer of work is spread thereon. Images of said work material at a reference point and match point are captured and superimposed over one another these superimposed images being projected onto a display. One of said images of said work material at said reference point in said image of said work material at said match point is moved relative to the other to substantially align the images. The position of a matching pattern piece contained within the marker is then moved in accordance with the amount of relative movement to align the pattern of the sheet material within a boundary defined by the matching pattern piece with that defined by the reference pattern piece.
