  • Patent number: 10655607
Abstract: A method for detecting damage in a bearing of a wind turbine includes collecting vibration data relating to the bearing. Another step includes storing the vibration data in a memory device. The method also includes identifying a plurality of harmonics in the vibration data that are indicative of bearing damage. Further, the method includes eliminating harmonics within a specified frequency proximity to areas of high energy content representative of normal gearbox operation. Moreover, the method includes determining at least one of increases in energy or a variance of the energy within each of the remaining harmonics and calculating a damage factor of the bearing as a function of a least one of the increases in energy or the variance of the energy within each of the remaining harmonics. Accordingly, the method includes comparing the damage factor to a predetermined damage threshold, wherein a damage factor exceeding the predetermined damage threshold may be indicative of a damaged bearing.

  • Patent number: 10488372
Abstract: A method for detecting damage in a component of a rotary machine includes collecting, via one or more sensors, vibration data relating to the component. The method also includes identifying energy of at least one harmonic or sideband series within the at least one region indicative of a damaged component and identifying energy within the at least one region excluding the at least one harmonic or sideband series. Further, the method includes determining at least one damage ratio based on the energy of at least one harmonic or sideband series within the at least one region indicative of a damaged component and the energy within the at least one region excluding the at least one harmonic or sideband series. Moreover, the method includes calculating a damage factor of the component as a function of, at least, the at least one damage ratio.

  • Publication number: 20080275015
Abstract: The invention of this application relates to a formulation and method of using the formulation for the treatment of interstitial cystitis and other similar conditions of the bladder. The formulation of this invention is a highly specialized, compounded pharmaceutical that contains a combination of numerous therapeutically different medications in a unique delivery vehicle and system. The individual components of the formulation work synergistically to restore and repair each of the different issues associated with interstitial cystitis. The individual components of the formulation exist in an aqueous vehicle to facilitate drug contact with the bladder wall. The formulation is instilled directly into the bladder, commonly in a physician's office.

  • Publication number: 20070294096
Abstract: A system and method of interactive, location-based presentation and advertising that enables users with wireless network addressable communications devices to control multi-media content on network addressable screens and enables marketers to track, monitor and respond to users interactions in real time. A Proxy Gateway directs a network addressable client PC, connected to a digital display, to serve local content or pull content from one or more web servers. A wireless, network addressable device, typically a mobile phone, is used to communicate commands to the physically remote Proxy Gateway. The Proxy Gateway bridges between the communications device and the display by interpreting the commands from the communications device, forwarding them to the client PC which may pull content from the appropriate web server, or display native message content.

  • Publication number: 20060164429
Abstract: A 3D rendering texture caching scheme that minimizes external bandwidth requirements for texture and increases the rate at which textured pixels are available. The texture caching scheme efficiently pre-fetches data at the main memory access granularity and stores it in cache memory. The data in the main memory and texture cache memory is organized in a manner to achieve large reuse of texels with a minimum of cache memory to minimize cache misses. The texture main memory stores a two dimensional array of texels, each texel having an address and one of N identifiers. The texture cache memory has addresses partitioned into N banks, each bank containing texels transferred from the main memory that have the corresponding identifier. A cache controller determines which texels need to be transferred from the texture main memory to the texture cache memory and which texels are currently in the cache using a least most recently used algorithm.
