Patent number: 11826862Abstract: A system and device operating using a welding power bus are provided. One welding power supply includes control circuitry configured to control the operation of the welding power supply and power conversion circuitry configured to convert input power to output welding power. The welding power supply also includes welding terminals configured to receive the output welding power from the power conversion circuitry and to provide the output welding power to a device that does not use the welding power for a welding operation. The control circuitry is configured to adapt the output welding power to the device.Type: GrantFiled: March 7, 2022Date of Patent: November 28, 2023Assignee: Illinois Tool Works Inc.Inventors: David Austin Stanzel, Michael William Roth, Anthony VanBergen Salsich, Jeffrey Robert Thomas

Patent number: 8522938Abstract: An article securement system for attaching an article to another article, such as article of luggage to another article of luggage. The article securement system includes a cord, such as an elastic cord, that is inserted through a handle. A cord locking mechanism is mounted on the cord as well. A second handle may be mounted on the cord as well with the cord locking mechanism between the two handles. In use, the cord is secured to a first attachment point on the first article, such as on a luggage handle. The cord and handle are pulled over the second article and engages over a second attachment point on the first article, such as an extendible handle. The cord is then through the handle until the tension is sufficient on the cord to secure the second article. The cord locking mechanism is then used to lock the cord from movement relative to the handle.Type: GrantFiled: January 26, 2012Date of Patent: September 3, 2013Inventor: Jeffrey Robert Thomas
