  • Patent number: 11310923
Abstract: A protective enclosure for electrical components includes a body having front and end openings, the body further including front, rear, and two side panels. A door selectively closes the front opening. An end cap closes the end opening. A ledge surrounds the end opening, the ledge lying perpendicular to the front, rear, and side panels, and a plurality of apertures are provided along the ledge. A gasket provides a seal between the end cap and ledge. A plurality of fasteners embedded into the end cap engage with a plurality of clips assembled onto the ledge at the plurality of apertures so as to form a permanent, one-time-use closure that compresses the gasket and maintains compression thereof in response to nothing more than movement of the end cap toward the ledge in a single installation direction perpendicular to the ledge.

  • Patent number: 10912217
Abstract: A protective enclosure for electrical components. A body defines a front opening, a first end opening, and a second end opening, wherein the body includes a front panel, a rear panel, and two side panels, all of which are formed at least in part by a single material sheet, without welding. A door is coupled to the body to selectively close the front opening. First and second end caps are sealingly coupled to the body around the first and second end openings. A first ledge, formed by the single material sheet, surrounds the first end opening and lies in a first plane perpendicular to the front, rear, and side panels. A second ledge, formed by the single material sheet, surrounds the second end opening and lies in a second plane parallel to the first plane.

  • Patent number: 4981474
Abstract: A body fluid drainage device that includes a wedge-shaped reservoir evacuator which has a first sidewall and a second sidewall integrally formed and joined along a coextending common edge. A third collapsible bellows-shaped sidewall extends between the nonjoined edges and is sealed to the nonjoined edges of the first sidewall and second sidewall to enclose and form a fluid tight reservoir between the first, second and third sidewalls. An inlet port and outlet port are provided in fluid communication with the reservoir. A one-way valve is provided in the inlet port for permitting fluid flow into the reservoir but preventing fluid flow out of the inlet port. A spring element is provided for storing energy to force the first sidewall away from the second sidewall following compression of the first sidewall towards the second sidewall such that as the first sidewall moves away from the second sidewall a partial vacuum is created within the reservoir for drawing fluid into the reservoir.
