  • Patent number: 11669640
Abstract: Provided herein is a system involving the utilization of a low-power device that is programmed to capture data from a source, whether from a sensor or other type of data generating component, with the data capture and/or further data transfer set within a specific time period and further data storage platform having programmed storage compartments uniformly set to meet the exact date and time for which the data capture and/or transfer was initially undertaken. Having a known value of storage capacity for each timed data packet in this manner, the ability to ensure veracity of the transferred data is provided since any result that does not meet the time frame and thus the storage capacity set from the programmed platform itself will result in a quarantine of any problematic data packet, thus allowing for filtering and review of any unexpected data captured and transferred in such a manner.

  • Publication number: 20210338867
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a glove device for safely and reliably handling and decontaminating surfaces from microorganisms as well as continuously self-decontaminating subsequent to and/or during utilization thereof. Such a glove includes embedded UV-C light sources under controlled power outputs to impart decontamination/disinfection capabilities as well as protect any users thereof from potential low UV wavelength effects. Such light sources utilize a specific range of low UV radiation within the UV-C wavelengths (from 240-300 nm) generated by individual UV light emitting diodes (LEDs) with possible additional emission capabilities through fiber optics. Additionally, the LEDs extend from an external layer of water-proof, substantially nonporous, potentially IPA-resistant material, in order to allow for UV-C emissions to direct outwardly from the device for exposure to a contacted surface as well as over the entirety of the outer surface of the device itself.

  • Publication number: 20200027678
Abstract: A trip assembly is for an electrical switching apparatus. The electrical switching apparatus has a base, a pair of separable contacts, and a trip bar structured to cooperate with the separable contacts in order to trip open the separable contacts. The trip assembly includes a housing member structured to be coupled to the base, and an lockout assembly having an actuation member and a locking member each coupled to the housing member. The actuation member is configured to engage the trip bar in order to trip open the separable contacts. The lockout assembly is structured to move between a FIRST position corresponding to the separable contacts being closed, and a SECOND position corresponding to the separable contacts being open. When the lockout assembly is in the SECOND position, the locking member engages the actuation member in order to maintain the separable contacts in the open position.

  • Patent number: 10244965
Abstract: A completely wireless capnography/drug delivery system is provided, with the drug delivery device reacting in relation to raw data transfers from the capnography device. Such a system utilizes the same capnography waveform generating algorithm within each component device (including an external connectivity base and a possible data center, as well) to receive raw data for comparison waveform results to ensure system functionality and to prevent outside data compromise or hacking. If an alert as to subject patient capnography waveform results initially at the capnography device, the other system component devices are alerted and such raw data is then transferred for such mirror capnography waveform generation at each location. Such a system thus allows for the drug delivery device to provide needed drug delivery operations directly, and wirelessly, in relation to such capnography waveform results, allowing the subject patient full mobility while monitored and treated.

  • Patent number: 10080498
Abstract: A capnography device including a suitable sensor to measure carbon dioxide concentration for a target patient/user is provided. Such a device utilizes at least one microprocessor (MCU) to govern overall activation and communication between the capnograph and ultimately a data center. Such a component is provided with at least one RFID tag in order to charge device and transfer data via inductive coupling and to use as device ID for data routing purposes. The MCU may thus provide pre-programmed information to determine alert levels for a target patient/user, with the utilization, additionally of a data recordation device to capture all sensor results for such a target patient/user as well. If an alert occurs, the MCU transfers of all subsequent information from the sensors to the data center. Thus, the inventive device and system provides a real-time, reliable, wireless surveillance and notification platform that has been lacking in the industry.

  • Publication number: 20170032358
Abstract: A novel method of substantially, if not totally, eliminating financial account fraud through the implementation of a specific algorithm that permits a financial institution the means to communicate directly and nearly instantaneously with an account holder for verification purposes during a financial transaction. The overall system depends on a string variable method that accords a limited number of representations to all the words and numbers of a specific human language in order to provide a suitable machine language translation for the capability of communicating quickly and effectively between a financial institution, an account holder, and possibly, a third party. Through a link between the digital communication platform set up by the variable string algorithm between the financial institution's system and at least one account holder electronic device, such communications, which do not require any need to divulge personal or other information of the account holder, ensure such transactions are proper.

  • Patent number: 7859369
Abstract: A circuit breaker test system includes a circuit breaker under test having a deformable frame with an elongated slot, an elongated deformable portion adjacent the elongated slot and a movable portion adjacent the deformable portion, and a thermal trip assembly coupled to the movable portion. A calibration device includes a forked tool straddling the deformable portion. The trip assembly has a first thermal response. • Publication number: 20100262452
Abstract: Staffing needs may be processed automatically by a staffing fulfillment system that determines the requirements of a staffing position, identifies personnel qualified to fill the position and notifies the identified personnel of the staffing need. A database may store personnel profiles detailing skills, qualifications and other credentials of the individual such that the fulfillment system may automatically identify individuals that are qualified to fill a need. A response from personnel may be evaluated by the system to determine whether the individual is available and willing to fill the need. The system may then fill the need if the response is positive and notify an employer that the position or need has been filled.

  • Patent number: 7358838
Abstract: A trip indicator is for a circuit breaker having a housing including first and second openings, separable contacts and an operating mechanism having an operating handle protruding from the first opening. The trip indicator includes a one-piece flag member with a first end having a trip flag and a second end with first and second integral legs. The first leg biases the trip flag away from the second opening when the separable contacts are not tripped open, and includes a latching portion to maintain the flag in a viewable position to indicate the trip condition regardless of the operating mechanism position. The second leg is disposed proximate first leg and biases the operating handle toward the OFF position, thereby assisting the handle to move from the ON position in response to the trip condition.

  • Patent number: 6700082
Abstract: A plunger mechanism provides for automatic tripping of a circuit breaker upon the opening of a cover of electrical equipment connected adjacent to the circuit breaker. One end of the plunger mechanism protrudes from the circuit breaker's housing adjacent to the cover, and the other end of the plunger mechanism engages the latch within the trip mechanism of the circuit breaker. Upon opening the cover, the plunger is depressed by the cover, rotating the latch, thereby tripping the circuit breaker.
