  • Publication number: 20070032129
Abstract: As discussed herein, a connector isolation station system affords protection of transmissions through individual connectors from interference caused by transmissions through other individual connectors in close proximity therewith and/or from interference due to other environmental factors. The connector isolation station is particularly helpful in situations where relatively high-speed transmissions are involved. Protection from interference facilitates high-speed transmissions through the individual connectors.

  • Publication number: 20070026736
Abstract: Implementations of a shielded connector system involve connector isolation shielding using shield enclosures to reduce crosstalk and noise transmitted between adjacent signal cable connectors. These implementations allow for manufacture of new equipment and also retrofitting of existing equipment for connector isolation shielding using standard connector configurations without specialized labor intensive terminations for cable and for connectors required of conventional approaches.

  • Publication number: 20050266840
Abstract: To assist with patent searching the following description includes a control fixture system used for a controlled device that was originally designed to be controlled by a handheld remote. The control fixture system includes a control module with controls to allow input from a user to operate a controlled device located elsewhere. As mounted, the control module does not share the degree of vulnerability associated with handheld remotes of being misplaced, stolen, or permanently lost. Input modules can be located in the room to couple to audio and/or video sources. The input modules are communicatively coupled to the emitter module, which in turn is communicatively coupled to the controlled device to send audio and/or video signals from the sources to the controlled device.

  • Publication number: 20050253662
Abstract: A insulation displacement connector (IDC) patch panel includes a circuit (PC) board with interdigitated capacitance for balancing out inherent capacitance found within IDCs of the panel and conventional plug connectors coupled to the panel. Unwanted cross-talk signals are reduced as a consequence.
