  • Publication number: 20240070380
Abstract: A document management system identifies policies specific to an entity's domain and applies relevant policies to documents managed by the entity. The document management system identifies a portion of the document with a triggering property associated with the entity's domain and tags that portion with an application programming interface (API) plug-in. After the document is transmitted to a recipient, the document management system activates the API plug-in. The API plug-in runs a function on the document, applying a subset of the entity's policies to the document.

  • Patent number: 11913434
Abstract: In A method of energy storage comprises receiving input energy (1) and using the input energy to compress (2) air or other process gas to produce a compressed process gas. The compressed process gas is stored (8). The compressed process gas is expanded (16) to generate output energy (17). Heat is transferred (5) from the process gas, before the process gas is stored (8) as a compressed process gas, to a hydrogen production process (10). The transferred heat is used in the hydrogen production process (10). The hydrogen may be stored (13) and subsequently used to heat to provide heat prior to, during, or after expanding (16) the compressed gas.

  • Patent number: 11881678
Abstract: Configurations for a photonics assembly and the operation thereof are disclosed. The photonics assembly may include multiple photonics dies which may be arranged in an offset vertical stack. The photonics dies may emit light, and in some examples, an optical element may be a detector for monitoring properties such as the wavelength of the light. The photonics dies may be arranged in a stack as a package and the packages may be stacked or arranged side by side or both for space savings. The PIC may include combining and/or collimating optics to receive light from the photonics dies, a mirror to redirect the light, and an aperture structure. The aperture structure may include a region which is at least partially transparent such that light transmits through the transparent region of the aperture structure. The aperture structure may include an at least partially opaque region which may be used for directing and/or controlling the light launch position.

  • Publication number: 20240007495
Abstract: A method for performing cyber-security analysis includes generating a semantic graph in which each object is represented as a node, and each event associated with an object is represented as an edge. A cyber-threat related alert, with an associated alert type, is received from a source. A first object from the plurality of objects is modified based on the alert. A plurality of threat scores, each associated with an object, are calculated, substantially concurrently, based on the alert type. Subsequently, a plurality of modified threat scores are determined for each object, based on: (1) the threat score for that object, (2) a connectivity of that object to each of the remaining objects within the semantic graph; and (3) the threat score for each remaining object from the plurality of objects. A subgraph of the semantic graph is identified based on normalized versions of the modified threat scores.

  • Patent number: 11850810
Abstract: Skin-bonded threaded inserts may be installed within a sandwich panel by curing the insert in place as the sandwich panel is cured. Skin-bonded threaded inserts may include a collar that is transitioned between a raised position and a compressed position during installation of the skin-bonded threaded insert in the sandwich panel, due to compression of the sandwich panel during curing. Skin-bonded threaded inserts may include one or more flanges that engage one or more skins of the sandwich panel. Such flanges may be positioned between two skins, or between the core and a skin of the sandwich panel to secure the sandwich panel in place within the sandwich panel. Skin-bonded threaded inserts may be positioned within a sandwich panel without the use of potting compound and may engage with the skins of the sandwich panel, rather than relying on adherence to the core for sufficient pull-out and shear strength.
