Publication number: 20120080244Abstract: An electric-powered scooter with independent ground engaging mechanisms is equipped with two powered wheels pivoted on a pair of rotatable racks respectively, and each of the rotatable rack is pivoted to a first shaft protruded from the vehicle frame of the electric-powered scooter. When one of the ground engaging wheels is bumped against an obstacle and bouncing upward would cause the rotatable racks to rotate and lowering the respective powered wheels immediately, by this way to enhance the traction of powered wheels over uneven terrain.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 30, 2011Publication date: April 5, 2012Inventor: Jen-En HOU

Patent number: 6893040Abstract: A safety seat anchoring mechanism for a stroller and particularly an anchoring mechanism that has a pair of anchor docks connecting to a frame and having a coupling member formed on each anchor dock. The safety seat has a body pivotally coupling with a handle. The handle may be turned relative to the body with an adjusting apparatus to switch to a carrying position and an anchored position. The lower side of the handle is extended to form an anchor hook that is turnable with the handle. When anchoring the safety seat, move the handle to the carrying position and place the body above the anchor docks. Then turn the handle to a usage position to couple the anchor hook with the coupling member and form a latched condition. The anchor position is also attained by switching the handle position. The invention provides direct and effective movements to achieve safety and to prevent inadvertent misuse.Type: GrantFiled: December 31, 2002Date of Patent: May 17, 2005Assignee: Link Treasure LimitedInventors: Jen-En Hou, Chuan-Tso Tai

Patent number: 6830168Abstract: An article carrier for a baby carriage, suspended at a lower side of a carriage frame, includes a carrier body, a pair of support rods and a cover sheet. The cover sheet is movably mounted to the article carrier via the support rods so as to be able to retract or deploy to uncover or cover and shield the article carrier. When the cover sheet is deployed, the articles in the article carrier are prevented from dropping on the ground. When the cover sheet is retracted, it is easy for the user to access the articles in the article carrier.Type: GrantFiled: April 16, 2003Date of Patent: December 14, 2004Assignee: Link Treasure LimitedInventor: Jen-En Hou

Patent number: 6692070Abstract: A food tray adjustment structure for a high chair to adjust the position of the food tray to suit children of different sizes includes a handle with longitudinal sections at two sides to form a biased sliding rail with a skew angle to couple with sliding docks that have coupling troughs formed with the same type of biased surfaces. The sliding docks may form a released or a latched position with coupling sections formed on the armrests at two sides of the chair. Thereby the distance between the backrest and the food tray may be adjusted to suit children of different sizes sitting on the chair.Type: GrantFiled: October 15, 2002Date of Patent: February 17, 2004Assignee: Link Treasure LimitedInventors: Jen-En Hou, Chien-Min Tsai

Publication number: 20030193232Abstract: The present invention relates to a kind of front restricting part of baby-car, especially installing on one side of the front of the baby-car's framework a double axes connection, which has a first rotating center along the axes. There still sets a second rotating center along the axes, and a single axes center in the other side of the baby-car's framework. A button installation fastening to the restricting part (e.g. armrest or eating plate) is connected with the single axes center. Depending on this framework, the restricting part is made to rotate and turn up and down. So this invention enables the user to select temporarily placing a down or overturning the armrest or the eating plate, so as to avoid being obstructed while holding the infant in the arm.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 15, 2003Publication date: October 16, 2003Inventor: Jen-En Hou

Publication number: 20030151220Abstract: A handle position indication device used in a safety seat equipped with a rotating handle, comprising embedding grooves on the safety seat and a positioning mechanism that is composed of a fastener, a spring component and a release button. When the handle is swung relative to the safety seat to a specific position, the fastener is pushed by the spring component to such a degree that it is trapped in a locked position in an embedded groove and thus fixed, though the handle may be allowed to swing freely if the fastener is pulled through a release button to a released position outside a separate embedded groove. In addition, two indicating areas (for example, a color block) are on the positioning mechanism for differentiation, while the handle has a indication window 22 through which different indicating areas are shown when the fastener is in a locked position or in a released position, so that a user may visually determine whether the handle is in a locked position or not.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 13, 2002Publication date: August 14, 2003Inventor: Jen-En Hou

Patent number: 6503018Abstract: A handlebar joint, comprises a disc seat, a rotating disc and a clutch disposed between both of them and having flexible element that passes through a handlebar. In a normal coupling position, the two end of the clutch is coupled to the disc seat and the rotating disc so as to keep the handlebar relatively unmoved; and in the releasing position, the clutch does not couple with the disc seat, therefore, the handlebar can be bent. Also, in the coupling position, when the movements of the flexible element are executed, the clutch can be rotated to drive the deflectable element, so the movements cannot be influenced when the handlebar is bent.Type: GrantFiled: March 15, 2001Date of Patent: January 7, 2003Assignee: Link Treasure LimitedInventors: Jen-En Hou, Hung-Chung Hou
