    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a CMOS image sensor having a multiple deep trench isolation (MDTI) structure, and an associated method of formation. In some embodiments, the image sensor comprises a boundary deep trench isolation (BDTI) structure disposed at boundary regions of a pixel region surrounding a photodiode. The BDTI structure has a ring shape from a top view and two columns surrounding the photodiode with the first depth from a cross-sectional view. A multiple deep trench isolation (MDTI) structure is disposed at inner regions of the pixel region overlying the photodiode, the MDTI structure extending from the back-side of the substrate to a second depth within the substrate smaller than the first depth. The MDTI structure has three columns with the second depth between the two columns of the BDTI structure from the cross-sectional view. The MDTI structure is a continuous integral unit having a ring shape.

    Abstract: In some embodiments, the present disclosure relates to a device having a semiconductor substrate including a frontside and a backside. On the frontside of the semiconductor substrate are a first source/drain region and a second source/drain region. A gate electrode is arranged on the frontside of the semiconductor substrate and includes a horizontal portion, a first vertical portion, and a second vertical portion. The horizontal portion is arranged over the frontside of the semiconductor substrate and between the first and second source/drain regions. The first vertical portion extends from the frontside towards the backside of the semiconductor substrate and contacts the horizontal portion of the gate electrode structure. The second vertical portion extends from the frontside towards the backside of the semiconductor substrate, contacts the horizontal portion of the gate electrode structure, and is separated from the first vertical portion by a channel region of the substrate.

Input air going through the second region bypasses the forward set of heat-generating components before being directed out through an air opening partway down the length of the chassis, after which this air passes by a rearward set of heat-generating components to extract heat.

    Abstract: A hand-eye calibration method and a hand-eye calibration device for a robot arm are provided. The method includes following steps. A first mapping relationship between a base of the robot arm and a terminal of the robot arm and a second mapping relationship between a camera and a target object are obtained. Based on a scale, a third mapping relationship between the terminal of the robot arm and a tool set mounted on the terminal and a fourth mapping relationship between the camera and the base in each dimension are updated to minimize an error between a position of the target object in an image captured by the camera and a position of the tool set. In response to the error being convergent and the scale being less than or equal to a scale threshold, the third mapping relationship and the fourth mapping relationship calibrated by the scale are output.

    Abstract: A partition device for improving cooling of a heat-generating electronic device includes a grid panel and an airflow deflector. The grid panel has one or more apertures and a thickness that extends from a leading surface to a trailing surface. The apertures of the grid panel extend parallel to an airflow direction of forced air flowing across the thickness of the grid panel and through the apertures. The airflow deflector is attached at least in part within one of the apertures, and the airflow deflector has an airfoil shape for reducing air resistance between the forced air and the grid panel. The airfoil shape has a leading edge that redirects initial contact with the forced air and a trailing edge that continues redirecting the forced air.

The force transmission module includes a gear set and a gear turntable meshing with the gear set, and the transmission shaft is coupled to the gear set to drive the gear set to rotate by the torsion. The elastic force module includes an elastic element and a plurality of force-bearing balls. The elastic element is configured to generate an elastic force. The force-bearing balls abut between the elastic element and the gear turntable and mesh with the gear turntable. When the torsion is greater than the elastic force, the gear turntable is disengaged from the force-bearing balls and rotated.

    Abstract: A mechanical arm positioning method configured to position a mechanical arm at a fixed point. The method includes capturing a positioning pattern through an image-capturing module disposed on mechanical arm to generate an image with a positioning image, the positioning image corresponding to positioning pattern. If not, a position of mechanical arm is adjusted in parallel with a plane where the positioning pattern is located until the center of positioning image is located at the center of the image. Subsequently, whether an area of positioning image is substantially equal to a predetermined area is determined. If not, a distance between mechanical arm and positioning pattern is adjusted perpendicular to plane where the positioning pattern is located until the area of positioning image is substantially equal to predetermined area.
