Patent number: 8997593Abstract: A nut for a ball screw mainly includes a nut, multiple dual-narrowed paths, multiple micro fans, a control portion, and multiple temperature sensing portions. The nut has a threaded path and the dual-narrowed paths are defined through the central axis of the nut and substantially parallel to the threaded path. Each of the dual-narrowed paths has a high-speed area and the diameter of each of the dual-narrowed paths is gradually reduced from two ends toward the high-speed area. The nut has micro fans which drive the air flows and reduce the temperature to increase the life of use and the precision of positioning.Type: GrantFiled: September 13, 2012Date of Patent: April 7, 2015Assignee: National Formosa UniversityInventors: Jeng-Haur Horng, Shin-Yuh Chen, Jen-Fin Lin, Chin-Chung Wei, Hsiao-Yeh Chu, Yuh-Ping Chang, Wang-Long Li

Publication number: 20130109036Abstract: A protein substrate includes a base having micro-passages and reaction grooves, a polyethyleneimine (PEI) fixed on the base and a specific protein fixed on the PEI. The base is modified by plasma stripper to make the PEI bonded on the base. Mixed with tyrosinase, the specific protein can stably stick on the base due to the tyrosinase bonded with the PEI. By antigen-antibody bonding specificity, the invention can quickly detect antibody in a sample able to link with the specific protein. The specific antibody can be added with targeted biotin secondary antibody, targeted avidin-peroxidase, and color producing substrate able to react with the targeted avidin-peroxidase, such as tetramethylbenzidine or 3-(4-hydroxy)phenyl propionic acid (HPPA), so as to measure a specific antibody amount.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 28, 2011Publication date: May 2, 2013Applicant: NATIONAL FORMOSA UNIVERSITYInventors: YI-LING YE, LI-SHIAN SHI, LIN-YI WU, I-EN LIN, JENG-HAUR HORNG, L.
