  • Patent number: 11793458
Abstract: System and techniques for tracking caloric expenditure using sensor driven fingerprints are described herein. A set of outputs may be obtained from a plurality of sensors. A fingerprint may be generated using the set of outputs. The fingerprint may correspond to an activity observed by the plurality of sensors. The generated fingerprint may be compared to a set of fingerprints stored in a database. Each fingerprint of the set of fingerprints may correspond to a respective caloric expenditure. A caloric expenditure may be calculated for the activity based on the comparison. An exercise profile of a user may be updated using the caloric expenditure.

  • Patent number: 11561750
Abstract: This disclosure describes embodiments of methods, systems, and non-transitory-computer readable media that personalize visual content for display on digital signage near a projected location of a person by mapping visual content to physical items selected by the person. In some examples, the disclosed system identifies physical items selected by a person based on signals from the physical items, such as signals emitted by RFID tags affixed to (or other devices associated with) the physical items. The disclosed system analyzes the collection of physical items—as identified by the signals—to tailor digital signage content specific to the person. The disclosed system further tracks the location of the person as the person moves through a physical space and interacts with the physical items. Based on the tracked positions, the disclosed system determines a digital sign in proximity to a predicted location of the person to display the personalized visual content.

  • Publication number: 20220137930
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for performing dynamic time warping using diffusion wavelets. Embodiments of the inventive concept integrate dynamic time warping with multi-scale manifold learning methods. Certain embodiments also include warping on mixed manifolds (WAMM) and curve wrapping. The described techniques enable an improved data analytics application to align high dimensional ordered sequences such as time-series data. In one example, a first embedding of a first ordered sequence of data and a second embedding of a second ordered sequence of data may be computed based on generated diffusion wavelet basis vectors. Alignment data may then be generated for the first ordered sequence of data and the second ordered sequence of data by performing dynamic time warping.
