Abstract: A shower curtain with an integral flap for accommodating a tub transfer bench. The flap, located along the bottom edge of the shower curtain, can be pulled into the slot of a tub transfer bench to prevent water from splashing outwards of the bathtub. Two side slits bound the flap and reinforcing material is provided at the boundary of the side slits to reduce the possibility of tear propagation. A handle may be provided at the lower end of the flap to facilitate easy grasping of the flap. The shower curtain may further include straps having hook-and-loop pads at the top edge to facilitate easy hanging and removal of the shower curtain from a conventional shower curtain rod.
