Abstract: Systems, devices and methods for sharing energy are generally described. In various examples a first grid participant may send a request for a list of grid participants to a directory server. The first grid participant may determine an energy profile of the first grid participant. The first grid participant may send a first signal to a second grid participant of the list of grid participants. The first signal may comprise a first indication of the energy profile of the first grid participant. The first grid participant may receive a response from the second grid participant indicating an availability of the second grid participant to participate in energy sharing with the first grid participant. Energy may be provided to a line accessible by the first grid participant and the second grid participant according to the energy profile of the first grid participant.
