  • Publication number: 20240134371
Abstract: Adjusting a navigation path of a worker land roaming edge device is provided. The worker land roaming edge device is identified moving along a navigation path to an asset to perform a task. It is determined that the worker land roaming edge device cannot reach the asset to perform the task due to an environment change along the navigation path. A set of task performance alternatives is generated in response to determining that the worker land roaming edge device cannot reach the asset to perform the task. A task performance alternative of the set of task performance alternatives is selected based on a set of criteria. The navigation path of the worker land roaming edge device is adjusted in accordance with the selected task performance alternative. The adjusted navigation path is sent to the worker land roaming edge device to dynamically adjust operation of the worker land roaming edge device.

  • Publication number: 20230186121
Abstract: A method, computer program product, and system include a processor(s) that engages, based on a request for an inference, from a group of sensors of multiple modalities at a physical location, sensor(s) of a main modality to provide data to a pipeline to generate the inference. The pipeline includes one or more machine learning models which generate the inference for a downstream task. The processor(s) obtains raw data from the sensor(s) of the main modality and applies an outlier detector to the raw data. Based on determining that there is an outlier the processor(s) automatically engages sensor(s) of at least one different modality than the main modality from the group of sensors of multiple modalities and obtains new raw data from the sensor(s) of the at least one different modality. The processor(s) applies the one or more machine learning models to the new raw data to derive the inference.

  • Publication number: 20230124038
Abstract: Optimizing sensing capabilities of a roaming robotic device using Artificial Intelligence (AI) includes receiving data at a control system having a computer from a robotic device. The control system communicating a policy to the robotic device for choosing navigation actions for the robotic device. The received data is analyzed using the control system for determining when the received data meets a threshold for determining quality of the data. The analysis can include generating a model based on the received data where the model includes vector representation of inputs detected by a sensor array at the location. In response to the received data at the control system not meeting the threshold for determining quality, the robotic device communicating with the control system to collaborate in updating the policy to choose a next action.

  • Patent number: 11570169
Abstract: Usage information of a user for a plurality of computing devices is identified. A usage pattern for each computing device of the plurality of computing devices of the user is developed based on the identified usage information of the user. An indication of the user accessing an application on a first computing device of the plurality of computing devices is received. The application requires one or more credentials for an authentication process associated with the application. A determination is made whether the user accessing the application using the first computing device is following the developed usage pattern of the user. Responsive to determining that the user accessing the application using the first computing device is not following developed usage pattern of the user, the authentication process associated with the application is interrupted.

  • Patent number: 11269971
Abstract: In an approach for providing reading insight and notification on a URL with unfamiliar content for a user, a processor parses a web page to identify a URL. The URL references a subsequent web page. Prior to receiving a user interaction with the URL, a processor prefetches content of the subsequent web page. A processor determines a content domain of the prefetched content, the content domain being a summary of the prefetched content. A processor compares the content domain to a user profile, wherein the use profile is based, at least in part, on a browsing history of a user. A processor determines that the content domain is not in alignment to the user profile. A processor presents a notification to the user.

  • Patent number: 11163739
Abstract: An approach for conversion between database formats (e.g., from a relational database format to a hash table or a “big table” database format) based on user data access patterns in a networked computing environment is provided. A first set of database tables having a first format is identified based on a set of access patterns stored in a computer storage device. A second set of database tables having a second database format corresponding to the first set of database tables may then be provided (e.g., accessed, augmented, and/or generated). A mapping between the first set of database tables and the second set of database tables may then be created. A column set may then be generated based on at least one condition of the set of queries. The column set may then be used as a key for the second set of database tables.
