Abstract: A vehicle side underrun protection having at least one load-bearing member that extends between the wheels or sets of wheels of the vehicle in the vehicle's longitudinal direction. The member(s) extend basically along the outer contour of the vehicle and serves as side impact protection and/or protection to prevent unprotected road-users ending up under the vehicle. The side underrun protection (1) has at least one longitudinal section (12, 13, 14) suspended in at least two first brackets (2, 3) fixed to the vehicle, along which brackets (2, 3) at least one end of each individual section (12, 13, 14) of the side underrun protection (1) is vertically adjustable from at least a first, active position to a second, inactive position. The invention also relates to a vehicle provided with such a side underrun protection.

Abstract: An elongate construction element (1; 19, 20) including a first elongate profile (2) with a first section (2?) located in a first plane and a second section (2?) located in a second plane different from the first plane, a second elongate profile (3) with a first section (3?) located in a first plane and a second section (3?) located in a second plane different from the first plane, and at least one third profile (4; 4?, 4?, 4??, 14). The respective first sections (2?, 3?) of the first and the second profile are located in essentially the same plane, and the third profile (4; 4?, 4?, 4??, 14) constitutes a web which is fixed to and interconnects the first sections along at least a part of the extent of the construction element. The invention also relates to a frame for a vehicle, which frame comprises at least a pair of such construction elements.

The coupler is intended for coupling together with a towing eye on a towed vehicle, and where the coupling means (4) consists of a coupling bolt with two towing sections (6a, 6b), where the towing sections (6a, 6b) have different diameters.

Abstract: Method and arrangement for moving an underrun protection device for vehicles having a frame (3), an impact element (7) arranged on the vehicle at a location corresponding to an expected loading from a force during a possible collision, and at least one displaceable carrier element (6) connecting the frame (3) and the impact element (7). During displacement of the impact element (7) between at least one first, active position and at least one second, inactive position, at least a part of the displacement occurs in a direction that substantially coincides with a longitudinal axis of the carrier (6).
