  • Publication number: 20060004845
Abstract: A method, computer readable medium and system are provided which generate a model driven form user interface to represent an application model. The method includes selecting which of multiple different logical form types to use to generate the form user interface to represent the application model. • Publication number: 20050061730
Abstract: A process for ultrafiltration using a spiral wound membrane filter is disclosed where the pressure in the space between the filter element and the pressure vessel is higher than or equal to the pressure inside the filter element. Using these conditions the static force created by the pressure provides a high friction between different sheets in the spiral wound filter element, which efficient prevents unwinding or telescoping of the filter element. Using this configuration it is possible to perform the ultrafiltration using a higher differential pressure across the filter element than would otherwise have been possible which leads to a higher efficiency and a low energy consumption. Further an anti telescoping device (ATD) and a spiral wound filter element, which are particular suited for the disclosed process, are described.

  • Publication number: 20040054336
Abstract: A needle mounting system and methods for mounting a needle assembly on a needle mount are disclosed. The needle mounting system includes a needle hub having protrusions extending radially inward. A needle mount has a plurality of slots to receive the protrusions. The slots have a first portion that defines a passageway substantially parallel to a longitudinal axis of the needle mount and a second portion substantially perpendicular to the axis. The needle hub and mount provide a method wherein a needle assembly may be mounted on an injection device without completely rotating the needle hub relative to the needle mount.

  • Patent number: 6569126
Abstract: By a cylinder ampoule (1), comprising a tubular vessel with a membrane (4) sealingly closing one end and a piston (9) closing the other end, liquid stored between said piston (9) and said membrane (4) can be pressed out through an injection needle (7) piercing the membrane (4) when the piston (9) is pressed into the ampoule (1). The tube is made from a plastically deformable material. A pressure foot (10) on which a piston rod (13) is acting abuts the piston (9), carries a spring plate (11) made from a harder material than is the ampoule (1), is mainly perpendicular to the ampoule (1) axis, and has at least one diameter which is larger than the inner diameter of the ampoule (1) so that edges of the plate (11) abutting the inner wall of the ampoule (1) are deflected away from the piston (9) to form an acute angle with said wall.

  • Publication number: 20020095120
Abstract: The invention relates to an automatic injection device, which automatically injects a pre-measured quantity of fluid medicine when a tension spring is released. The tension spring moves the ampoule and the injection needle from a storage position to a deployed position when it is released; the content of the ampoule is thereafter expelled by the tension spring forcing a piston forward inside the ampoule. After the fluid medicine has been injected, torsion stored in the tension spring is released and the injection needle is automatically retracted back to its original storage position.

  • Patent number: 6248090
Abstract: A syringe having a dose setting mechanism, a button which can be operated to inject a set dose, a switch operated at a time between the start and completion of injection, and an electronic presentation of parameters such as the size of a set dose and the size of the last dose administered. The syringe also has a stop watch which is reset and started responsive to operation of the switch. The electronic presentation includes an indication of the number of hours elapsed from the activation of the switch, and may also include, for a predetermined period initially following the activation of the switch, a presentation of the number of seconds elapsed. The latter presentation can provide a visual indication to the patient of the length of time, after the injection button has been actuated to inject the dose, that the needle should remain inserted in the skin.
