Abstract: An Internet access control method in a mobile communication terminal with a built-in web browser. Upon receipt of an Internet access request from a user, the mobile communication terminal accesses a web server through an Internet, downloads a web document from the web server, and displays the downloaded web document. Upon receipt of a data input from the user while displaying the web document, the mobile communication terminal performs an operation according to the data input. Otherwise, upon failure to receive any web command from the user for a predetermined time after displaying the web document, the mobile communication terminal temporarily releases an access to the Internet. In the meantime, the mobile communication terminal resumes an access to the Internet upon receipt of a web command from the user.

Abstract: A key interface apparatus is provided in a limited space of a compact device for entering numerals, characters, and signs so that a desired key can be correctly selected in an easier manner. The apparatus includes at least one key which is recognized as at least one identical key value according to a key input mode. A portable terminal comprises a key interface apparatus provided in a limited space for entering numerals, characters, and signs and a control unit adapted to recognize a key selection signal, which is inputted from at least one key, as an identical key value according to the key input mode of the key interface apparatus.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for controlling an output sound in a digital camera. When an input for an image pickup operation is present, a shutter opening time is calculated. A shutter is opened and then a shutter opening sound is outputted. The shutter is closed after waiting for the expiration of the shutter opening time and then a shutter closing sound is outputted.

Abstract: A method for dialing a phone number in a smart phone having both PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) and mobile phone functions during operation of a PDA function, comprising the steps of loading the OS (Operating System) program for dialing the phone number during operation of the PDA function, selecting a phone number, displaying a dialing icon according to an embodiment of the received signal strength indicator (RSSI), and dialing the selected phone number by selecting the dialing icon in response to the user's request of dialing.

Abstract: A method for easily transmitting a message and a phone number to a called mobile terminal through the use of a one-touch call button when the calling mobile terminal cannot establish a call connection with the called mobile terminal. Therefore, there is no need for a user to manually input a phone number and message to be transmitted. A message from the calling mobile terminal is transmitted to the called mobile terminal on condition that the calling and called mobile terminal are all connected to a network, thereby quickly performing a calling operation.
