    Abstract: A wheel slip control method for a vehicle is provided, and includes estimating equivalent inertia information of a driving system based on operation information of the driving system while a vehicle travels, determining whether the slip of a drive wheel occurs from the estimated equivalent inertia information of the driving system, determining whether the drive wheel is in an uneven wheel slip state where the slip occurs only in one of a left wheel and a right wheel of the drive wheel from a left wheel speed and a right wheel speed detected by a sensor, if it is determined that the slip of the drive wheel occurs, and controlling an operation of a braking device such that a braking force is applied to the vehicle wheel in which the slip occurs, if it is determined that the vehicle wheel is in the uneven wheel slip state.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a metal recovery reactor and a metal recovery system. The metal recovery device according to the present invention comprises an electrolytic cell which receives a solution containing metal ions from the outside, and which reduces and precipitates the metal ions of the solution on the surface of a cathode when the solution is supplied to a reaction space formed between an anode and the cathode surrounding the anode.     Abstract: An electrowinning apparatus and method are provided. The electrowinning apparatus includes: an electrolytic cell including a body portion which has an inlet for introducing an aqueous solution containing metal ions into the body portion and a conical portion which is gradually reduced in diameter from top to bottom and disposed under the body portion; a ring-shaped cathode coupled to an inner circumferential surface of the body portion of the electrolytic cell and having an entrance hole which extends from an outer circumferential surface of the cathode through to an inner circumferential surface of the cathode and is connected to the inlet of the electrolytic cell; and a hollow anode having an upper end disposed outside the electrolytic cell and inserted into the cathode. In the electrowinning method, a metal can be recovered from an aqueous solution containing a low concentration of metal ions using the above cyclone-shaped electrowinning apparatus.

    Abstract: A method for preparing manganese sulfate and zinc sulfate from waste batteries containing manganese and zinc, and more particularly to a method for preparing manganese sulfate and zinc sulfate from waste batteries containing manganese and zinc. Zinc powder and activated carbon are added to a leached solution obtained from a continuous leaching process so as to remove heavy metals and organic materials from the leached solution, and then the leached solution is spray-dried to simultaneously obtain manganese sulfate and zinc sulfate at high-purity by a simple process without generating wastewater. An environmentally friendly waste battery recycling process is thereby provided, because it is not required to use additional chemical substances for neutralization titration or impurity removal in recovering manganese sulfate and zinc sulfate by leaching a waste battery powder.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a method for recovering cobalt and manganese from a spent cobalt-manganese-bromine (CMB) catalyst. The method includes (a) continuously leaching a spent CMB catalyst with sulfuric acid, (b) separating the leachate into a solution and a residue, (c) extracting the solution with a solvent, and (d) washing the extract with water. According to the method, high-purity cobalt and manganese can be recovered in high yield from a spent CMB catalyst while minimizing the amount of impurities. Further disclosed is a method for producing a CMB liquid catalyst from the extract containing cobalt and manganese obtained by the recovery method.
