  • Patent number: 11699171
Abstract: In an approach to determining a boundary-specific offer, one or more computer processors determine a user of a mobile device is within a pre-defined physical boundary. The one or more computer processors determine a first notification of an offer corresponding to the pre-defined physical boundary. The one or more computer processors send the first notification of the offer to the mobile device. The one or more computer processors determine whether the user of the mobile device moved outside of the pre-defined physical boundary. In response to determining the user of the mobile device moved outside of the pre-defined physical boundary, the one or more computer processors invalidate the offer.

  • Patent number: 11494432
Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product for adding media file metadata based on micro-locations of a venue are provided. A media file is detected, where the media file is captured by a user at a venue. A plurality of wireless beacons are detected, where each of the plurality of wireless beacons is associated with a respective micro-location at the venue. A micro-location of the user is determined, based, at least in part, on: (i) a proximity of the user to a wireless beacon of the plurality of wireless beacons, and (ii) the respective micro-location of the wireless beacon. Metadata of the media file is populated, based on the determined micro-location of the user and any tag information for the determined micro-location, where the metadata includes a coordinate that relates to the micro-location of the user.

  • Patent number: 11223588
Abstract: A method, computer system, and computer program product for using sensor data to control message delivery to a user. The method may include defining one or more criteria which may include a message delivery, sensor, bypass, or rerouting criterion. The message delivery criterion may include a rule for delivering messages. The method may include operations performed by a device communicating with a communications network. The device may have a computer and may receive a message from a user of a plurality of users and data from a sensor. The method may determine whether the sensor data meets the message delivery criterion and suppress a message notification based on the message delivery criterion. In some embodiments, the sensor is an image sensor and the method includes determining that content of an image captured by the image sensor includes an activity corresponding with a message delivery criterion.

  • Patent number: 11200517
Abstract: A method, computer program product, and system for managing the transportation of an individual. The method includes a processor identifying, based on communicating with location services on a client, a user entering a venue, where the client is a wireless device associated with the user. The processor determined, in real time, a current location of the user within the venue. The processor obtains transportation route information associated with the user. The processor determines, based on the current location of the user and/or the transportation route, an occurrence of a transportation event. Based on the event, the processor determines one or more alternate transportation routes for the user. The processor transmits an alert that includes data related to the one or more alternate transportation routes over a wireless communication channel to the wireless device of the user.

  • Patent number: 11188073
Abstract: Management of available energy among multiple unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is provided by identifying tasks to be completed by the multiple UAVs, and determining energy requirements of one or more UAVs of the multiple UAVs to facilitate completing one or more tasks of the tasks to be completed by the multiple UAVs. Further, the approach includes identifying an energy sharing approach for completion of the task(s) by the UAV(s) where one or more other UAVs of the multiple UAVs transfer energy in transit to the UAV(s) to facilitate completion of the task(s). In operation, the multiple UAVs may be detachably coupled, and the approach may include implementing the energy sharing approach by transferring energy from the other UAV(s) to the UAV(s) to facilitate completion of the task(s), for instance, prior to decoupling of the other UAV(s) from the UAV(s).

  • Patent number: 11188868
Abstract: Aspects of the present invention provide an approach for safeguarding a package for successful delivery. In an embodiment, a current location of a package, delivered but left outside its desired delivery location, is received from a smart label affixed to the package. The location and directional movements of the package are monitored. If the package is moved beyond a predefined distance threshold (e.g., 30 feet from a desired delivery residence), a threshold violation notification is sent to at least one party (e.g., customer, delivery service, police department, etc.) providing an alert of a potential theft of the package.
