  • Publication number: 20240117238
Abstract: A nanoparticle for well-treatment applications and compositions and methods of making and using the same are disclosed. The nanoparticle can include a carrier material and an asphaltene inhibitor. The asphaltene inhibitor is capable of being released from the carrier material. The nanoparticle can have a size of 10 nanometers (nm) to 500 nm.

  • Publication number: 20240109680
Abstract: A cleaner assembly for an apparatus for making pouch products includes a cleaner roller and a poker roller. The cleaner roller may counter rotate with a rotatable drum of the apparatus, in contact with an upper surface of a first elastic layer on the rotatable drum, and at a greater tangential speed than at least one surface of an outer circumferential surface of the rotatable drum or an upper surface of the first elastic layer. The poker roller includes projections that are each configured to extend into one or more divots of the rotatable drum. The poker roller may counter rotate with the rotatable drum and at a same tangential speed as the at least one surface such that the projections extend into and out of separate, respective divots of the rotatable drum based on the counter rotation of the poker roller and the rotatable drum.

  • Publication number: 20230272490
Abstract: Sets of bacterial features were identified in the nostrils, nasopharynx, and lungs of cows that can be used to predict the likelihood that a cow will develop bovine respiratory disease (BRD) or to diagnose BRD. The present invention provides methods and kits for selecting cows to treat for BRD based on the levels of these biomarkers in the respiratory microbiome. Using these methods and kits, producers may selectively treat cows deemed to be at risk for BRD, saving money and decreasing antibiotic use.

  • Publication number: 20220379781
Abstract: An outdoor power equipment having sitting configuration and standing configuration is presented herein. The outdoor power equipment can be transformed from the sitting configuration to the standing configuration and vice versa, allowing an operator to use the outdoor power equipment in either a sitting position or standing position. The sitting position can place the operator at least in part forward of a drive axis of the outdoor power equipment, whereas the standing position can place the operator at least in part coincident with or behind the drive axis. The outdoor power equipment can be electric powered in some aspects, with modular and replaceable battery packs.

  • Patent number: 7767132
Abstract: A process for forming a three-dimensional article in sequential layers in accordance with a digital model of the article. The process comprises the steps of defining a layer of powder material, applying a liquid reagent to the powder layer in a pattern corresponding to the digital model, and repeating these steps to form successive layers. The powder comprises a first reactive component and the liquid includes a second active component capable of reacting with the first reactive component so that the article is built up in layers.
