  • Publication number: 20240130674
Abstract: The present invention provides a computer device and a computer-implemented method to quantify the extent of functional coronary artery disease. In addition, the invention provides a computer device for determining the functional pattern of coronary disease in a mammal. It is shown that a mismatch in the extent of CAD between anatomical and physiological evaluations is predictable for an improvement in epicardial conductance with percutaneous revascularization. More particularly the invention provides methods to select a mammal suffering from coronary disease to benefit from a percutaneous coronary intervention.

  • Publication number: 20230320682
Abstract: The present invention provides means and methods for the assessment of coronary vessels, in particular to determine the patterns of blockage or restriction to the blood flow through a coronary vessel. More particularly, the present invention relates to a generalized approach to synchronize angiographic projection angles in real time with external 3-dimensional coronary CT angiographic images. Accordingly, a system is provided to project two-dimensional angiographic images side by side with three-dimensional coronary CT images.

  • Publication number: 20220175260
Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of cardiac disease, in particular to the assessment of coronary vessels, in particular to determine the mechanisms and patterns of blockage or restriction to the blood flow through a coronary vessel. The present invention provides diagnostic methods and devices to determine the condition of coronary artery disease, in specific to determine the functional pattern (focal or diffuse) of coronary artery disease.
