  • Patent number: 5472213
Abstract: An expandable arrowhead having a magnetic source capable of holding attached triangular shaped blades in a closed or open position relative to the magnetic strip's fixed location beneath and between parallel opposing slots in the wall of a hollow metal shaft.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 5316312
Abstract: A six sided double walled container housing having an open top and holding within the confines of those walls the canopy and lines of a parasail device therein and by four flexable fingers extending partly over the contents from the top perimeter of the four rigid foam perpendicular inner walls whose bonded exterior covering is a soft impact absorbing plastic foam material.Target housing has a front and rear configuration showing a downwardly and rearwardly sloped triangular shaped front panel having a vent through which a stream of air enters to cause ejection of the parasail canopy which will support the target housing in flight. Base of the sloped triangular shaped front panel joins the matching perimeter of the bottom panel of the target housing to form an aerodynamic lift surface and the adjoining four perpendicular panel's matching perimeters joined to each other's matching perimeters are then joined to the matching perimeters of the bottom panel and those of the sloped triangular shaped front panel.

  • Patent number: 5096205
Abstract: A archery device comprising a tubular shaft having a slidable inertial member trapped within the bore extending between the injection molded resilient notch plug conforming with the perimeters of the bore and the notch in the string receiving end and the transversaly positioned back wall of the vented projectile chamber secured within the bore at the forward end of the shaft. Slidable inertial member comprises an elongated metallic weight having at each end an annular goove fitted with a soft flexible foam pad therein and frictionally engaging the interior wall of the tubular shaft. Projectile chamber in the forward end of the shaft is provided with a detachable containment cover having a three sided configuration that fits on the forward end of the shaft with the shaft in longitudinal alignment between the opposing sides of the cover while the closed end of the cover caps the exit end of the projectile chamber in the forward end of the shaft.

  • Patent number: 4866874
Abstract: A rectangular box shaped casting device comprising a bouyant housing containing within a U shaped retaining area in one end of the housing a folded piece of soft absorbent plastic foam material capable of storing a fish attractant scent substance and imparting that scent substance to a lure held captive in the fold of the foam material prior to the release of the lure in flight. The housing is attached to a fishing line with a part of that line embedded within a slit located in the solid end of the housing and the line secured therein by retainer pins inserted in the housing above the embedded line. A predetermined length of line is wound around the housing midway between the ends of the housing. The lure and the predetermined length of line to which the lure is attached are released in flight from the casting device by applying the brake on the spincast reel.
