    Abstract: An electrostatic spray device includes an electrostatic mixing chamber and an electrode pair in the electrostatic mixing chamber. The electrostatic mixing chamber receives an airflow that is driven by a fan of the electrostatic spray device. The electrostatic mixing chamber also receives a flow of fluid from a reservoir of the electrostatic spray device. The electrode pair is configured to apply electrostatic charge to droplets of the fluid suspended in the airflow. A voltage level of the electrostatic charge is adjustable responsive to a first DC output from a first DC convertor. A flow volume of the fluid from the reservoir is adjustable responsive to a second DC output from a second DC convertor. In some cases, a control unit of the electrostatic mixing device modifies the first or second DC outputs based on a target level of the voltage level or the flow volume.

A first light, positioned on a right side of the shell, and a second light, positioned on a left side of the shell, are coupled proximate to a back of the shell. A third light is coupled to and is centrally positioned on the back of the shell. A controller, coupled to the shell, is operationally coupled to the first power module, the first light, the second light, and the third light. The controller is configured to selectively operationally couple the first light, the second light, and the third light to the first power module.

    Abstract: An x-ray source can include a power supply and an x-ray tube. The power supply can include digital-to-analog converters (DACs) electrically-coupled between a digital controller and an x-ray tube control circuit. A user of the x-ray source can provide a digital input to the digital controller for operation of the x-ray source. Advantages of this power supply can include easy operation of the x-ray source, minimize problems in x-ray source operation due to variation between manufactured x-ray tubes, and reduced electronic noise. There can be a small distance between the DACs and the x-ray tube control circuit. The power supply electronic components can be part of a single electronic circuit rigidly-mounted together. The digital controller, the first DAC, the second DAC, and the x-ray tube control circuit can be rigidly-mounted within a housing.

    Abstract: A lock includes a housing, a keypad disposed on the housing, and a latch assembled with the housing. The keypad includes a plurality of button assemblies, each including an axially depressible button member including a camming surface, a lock wheel having a plurality of camming teeth, and a latch releasing feature secured to the lock wheel for rotation therewith. Pressing the button member causes the camming surface to engage one of the plurality of calming teeth, thereby incrementally rotating the lock wheel between a plurality of rotational positions. When the button members of a predetermined one or more of the plurality of button assemblies are depressed a predetermined number of times, the latch releasing features of each of the plurality of button assemblies align with a plurality of blocking features of the latch to permit lateral sliding movement of the latch from a locked condition to an unlocked condition.

The electrolysis cell includes a cell housing for holding water. A plurality of positive electrode plates are mounted inside the cell housing and attached to a positive pole mounted on top of the cell housing. The positive pole is adapted for connection to a vehicle's electrical source. A plurality of negative electrode plates are mounted inside the housing and indexed in a spaced relationship between each of the positive electrode plates. The negative electrode plates are attached to a negative pole mounted on top of the cell housing. The negative pole is also adapted for connection to a vehicle's electrical source. The negative electrode plates are attached to a moveable plate rod mounted inside the cell housing. One end of the moveable rod is adapted for attachment to a linkage assembly connected to a vehicle's fuel system.

    Abstract: A deadbolt mechanism including a lock out mechanism that functions to disable the operation of the deadbolt from at least one side of the deadbolt mechanism. The deadbolt mechanism includes a deadbolt, key cylinder, housing, turn knob and a shaft that connects the key cylinder and turn knob. To place the deadbolt mechanism in lock out mode, a release mechanism is actuated and the turn knob is pulled outward away from the door. By pulling the knob outward, the shaft engages a portion of the housing which prevents rotation of the shaft and thereby prevents movement of the deadbolt from the lock-out position.

    Abstract: An exemplary self-destruct fuze delay for a submuntion includes an ampoule filled with an activation fluid, a spring-loaded pin to break the ampoule upon deployment of the munition, and a wick to collect and retain the activation liquid in contact with a spring loaded restraining link having an embedded firing pin. The activation liquid contacts the restraining link, preferably via the wick. The action of the activation liquid on the restraining link over time causes the link to fail at the predetermined location, allowing a severed portion with the embedded firing pin to move under force (e.g., spring, gas) and impact or initiate a secondary detonator. The secondary detonator is in close proximity to a primary detonator typically used to initiate a main charge of the submunition. Initiation of the secondary detonator destroys the primary detonator and, depending upon slide location, either sterilizes the submunition, or destroys the entire submunition.
