  • Patent number: 8679566
Abstract: A method of preparing customized micro batches of ice cream is disclosed. Ice cream premix is poured into a shallow eight quart bowl and flavorings and mix-ins added. Liquid nitrogen is injected into the bowl, and the premix is folded into the liquid nitrogen by folding the premix into the center of the bowl. The premix is frozen into ice cream, its edges heated to release any ice cream from the bowl, and dispensed to a serving container. By adding additional liquid nitrogen, the ice cream may be made brittle and then chopped or ground into a large or fine granular shape. As the ice cream mixture is freezing, it may be poured into a mold and placed in a cryogenic bin to freeze and harden the ice cream into the shape of the mold, for making ice cream cakes or other novelty ice cream shapes.

  • Publication number: 20080165949
Abstract: An emergency radio communication system utilizes radios with headset, headphones, earphones and/or custom audio interfaces for a minimum of two audio channels. Each radio receives multiple channel/frequency communications and spatially locates the received communications at predetermined “ear” locations comprising left earphone, right earphone, and both earphones (right and left) according to the source of the received communications. In one specific example, a first fire department communications may be fed into the left earphone at a 100% level and a second fire department communications or air support communications may be fed into the right earphone at a 100% level. Control and command communications may be fed into both the left and right earphones at equal levels. Thus, in this example, the user spatially hears communications from the first fire department to the left, communications from the second fire department to the right, and communications from air support from the center.

  • Patent number: 5848816
Abstract: A foldable animal pull apparatus which forms a rigid bar when two rigid bars of equal-length are extended. Attached at a center position of the two attached bars is a flexible connector and hook clasp attachment which serves as an animal pull for the removal of fallen animals from the woods. The animal pull apparatus forms a rigid two-piece bar when extended, with two handles and a cable and hook hanging from the center of the bar. When folded, the animal pull folds into compact shape which can be carried in the pocket or in a vest of a hunter. The benefit of the foldable animal pull is that the structural integrity of the extended two handled bar is improved by a support block and pivoting mechanism which provides a two-handled bar that is strong and durable.
