  • Patent number: 11849886
Abstract: A tissue dispenser, a method, system, and a sensor unit for detecting level of a consumable tissue product (201, 301) in a tissue dispenser (103, 106) located in a washroom. This includes provided a sensor unit utilizing two sensor elements (420, 430) each arranged to measure light reflected from a reflection field located on the tissue product, reflected directly from the tissue product, or measure the absence of the tissue product. Data from the sensor elements are wirelessly transmitted to a server (901) for further handling, such as for instance notification to a janitor in charge of service of the washroom.

  • Publication number: 20220291266
Abstract: A method performed by a control unit for detecting performance deterioration of components comprised in a coupling chain connecting a power grid to a vehicle, wherein the coupling chain at least comprises a supply unit configured to charge the vehicle, the method comprising measuring amplitude of a first voltage at a first point of the coupling chain, measuring amplitude of a second voltage at a second point of the coupling chain, measuring a first current flowing through the coupling chain, estimating an impedance using the measured amplitude of the first voltage, the amplitude of the second voltage and the first current, detecting that performance deterioration of components comprised in the coupling chain has occurred by comparing the estimated impedance to a reference impedance, wherein the deterioration of components is detected if the estimated impedance is equal to or greater than the reference impedance.

  • Patent number: 8917102
Abstract: A method for measuring a capacitance using a capacitance meter. The capacitance meter includes an AC power source with a controllable frequency which is fed to a capacitor to measure its capacitance. A first measurement of the capacitance is performed by the capacitance meter using a first frequency. When the first measurement of the capacitance indicates the capacitance is below a threshold capacitance a lower capacitance measurement is performed in the capacitance meter, using a second measurement of the capacitance using a second frequency. When the first measurement of the capacitance indicates the capacitance is above a threshold capacitance, a higher capacitance measurement is performed in the capacitance meter, using a second measurement of the capacitance using a third frequency, the third frequency being lower than the second frequency.
